I'm trying so hard to write something, anything, but it's like I'm writing constipated. Writer's block, I guess you could say. I looked at a bunch of writing prompts during a slow period at my part time job the other day but nothing sparked my interest.

I agree, but it's funny that they obscure the actual product so much it's impossible to tell which bra or type of underwear the model is shilling.

What really grinds my gears is asking me to fill out a lengthy work history after I've just uploaded my resume. I mean, I get that my resume is tailored to the job I'm looking for, but filling out those forms makes me bonkers.

Both of us needed a slap, I guess - me for shrugging and going along with it and him for being an asshole. I was going through a really awful depressive period when he and I were hooking up; I'd like to think, were I in a better mental state, I would have made better choices.

My boss is pregnant and is expecting me to take on most of her work while she's on maternity leave in the spring; my reaction to hearing that was OH HELL NO, so I'm trying my hardest to get out of here before then. No way do I want to do 2 people's jobs for one barely livable salary.

A 1995 Buick LeSabre, inherited from my late grandfather. Being 21, I had major embarrassment driving that thing around, but damn, if that wasn't the most comfortable car ever. We called the backseat "The Couch" because it was about the size of a love seat and just as comfortable.

By the end of the month, I hope to have applied for 10 jobs. I just wish the actual process of filling out online applications wasn't such a frustrating, lengthy process.

Nothing yet in central Connecticut, but the air has started to have that snowy feel to it in the last couple of days.

I love copy editing…there's something therapeutic about taking my red pen and marking up the page. Copy editing is a lost art.

The Night Circus is such a beautifully written book; I read it over a year ago and I still think about it on a regular basis.

I finished Julia Pierpont's Among the Ten Thousand Things last night; based on the jacket blurbs and reviews I'd read, I was expecting to be blown away. It wasn't a bad book by any means, just less than what I expected.
