I think Raylan is taking cues from his own father-subconsiously-on his parenting style. He will be more loving but probably pretty distant.

Good Lord what a great article. Between this and the Junod article and the youtube clips and the comments I feel like the AV club is trying to make me weep quietly the entire day at work.
See below
The main zombie character talked about looking into the black eyes of the skeletons seeing dank cosmic sewers and whatever dwells behind the stars and stuff like that. I dont remeber the exact wording. It wasnt a lot but it was enough to be creepy.
The guards stand outside of it in the book too, which didnt make any sense in the book either.
Well the review says that the movie glosses over what the boneys are…..to me that one of the best things about the book. You could tell the author had a grounding in more traditional horror.
In the book there are hints of Lovecraftian cosmic terror powering the skeletons. I hate that this angle has been lost in the movie.
I really really really wanted The Avengers movie with Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman to be good.
Python.
This may be "Cool Story Bro" territory BUT a friend and I went to a recent NBA game. The PA announcer was asking the crowd to text suggestions for songs to be played during timeouts. We were trying to get our entire section to text in "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald"
Good choices……….I forgot about Eddie! I cant in good conscience pick Short over O'Hara as much as I love her. Besides the Python guys can do drag if we really need more.
Yeah I know. (Hangs head in shame.) I just couldnt justify replacing any of these guys for a female……….Maybe trade Kevin McDonald for Amy Poehler or Radner?
So everything else about society at that time is invalidated? Just saying. Seems like we tend to throw the baby out with the bathwater.
Talking about your favorite cast members has me thinking about an all star sketch show line up. Here is my college try:
1. John Cleese
2. Dan Ackroyd
3. Martin Short
4. Phil Hartman
5. Will Ferrell
6. Will Forte
7. Dana Carvey (underrated in my humble opinion)
8. Kevin McDonald
9. Jim Carrey (I got a lot of love in my brain…
GRIZZLY ABRHAMS! Ive been afraid to rub two sticks together ever since.
Also Martin Short singing Bob Dylan as Jerry Lewis should be shot into space so it will survive if humanity ever destroys itself.
I get misty eyed for the WW2 generation……..so few left now. I know its all Capra corn and Ambrosia, but I cant help feel a little like we have lost our way since then…..
Well helping the overcome the greatest crisis of the century, and perhaps the millienium, maybe we should just let them have it.
Well I just wish he wouldnt bounty hunt for extra money is all. To me using the badge to make money, (as opposed to rough justice) is what turns you from Andy Sipowitz to Vic Mackey.
I meant above average from the average joe; id say he is still slightly above average for law enforcement. Those hefty guys wearing badges usually know how to use their size to their advantage.
1. Are we going have Limehouse this season?
2. Why is Raylan so broke? He drives a goverment car. He lives above a bar rent free. Federal Marshals make decent coin, enough for a solid middle class life style. Did Winona clean him out in the divorce?
