We've got to kill those FOOKING PRAWNS MAN

Just to brighten everyone's moods a bit, next week's finale is going to be 66 minutes, which I believe is the longest GoT episode ever! So yay for long commercial-less TV!

And now, the Official Game of Thrones Clue game!

Time has not been kind to the old noggin, but I seem to recall the color green being involved… no wait, maybe it was red…. aw hell it was one of the stoplight colors at least

That scythe anchor whatever-the-fuck-you-want-to-call-that thing was quite honestly the most badass thing I've ever seen deployed, fictional or not, in my entire fucking life.

FOOOOK THE EXPERTS

At least when you get the Android update you're actually *getting* the update for real, not selectively chosen features that Apple wants you to have on your 1-year-old phone while still inaccurately calling it the latest version of iOS. It's incredible how this point is so often missed in the Android updates vs. Apple

I mean, your "simple" interpretation is pretty valid in my mind as well, I don't necessarily think you need to dig deeper if that's what you got out of the scene. FWIW, I didn't really see more to it initially either, but it's interesting to see other takes, even if they are stretched a bit too far.

"Every quote you've seen on the Internet attributed to me is 100%, undeniably something I actually said in my life at some point."
- Abraham Lincoln

Fair enough. Although I don't think there's supposed to be a clear-cut explanation for what that story means, I think it's pretty clear that it can be interpreted in different ways. In fact, that's where the joy from scenes like that come from; the ambiguity of what it means and how it applies to the larger story

The problem is, I'm not seeing that "interpreting and critiquing each episode's choices of nudity" when I see the complaining over the male-versus-female nudity disparity (I mean just look at the few comments that preceded my initial one; do you see any blazing critical insight there?). It's just a bunch of people

I liked Todd's interpretation over in the experts review, if you're daring enough to venture to that page I'd suggest doing so.

Wait, did he recently let loose another spoiler? I honestly thought he was a reformed man, but maybe not.

*rimshot, followed by one wasted guy in the back letting out a shriek of laughter*

It's one thing for me to make half-hearted jokes "slobbering" over Missandei's nudity, because God forbid I admire a beautiful woman in an AV Club comment section in a joking manner. It's another matter entirely to see people take it a step further and read into it so much more than makes sense, given what the nudity

Yeah I thought it was hilariously unsubtle how the Mountain starts off wearing this helmet that shields his head completely, and literally like 10 seconds into the battle Oberyn pokes it off and we never see it again. Gotta have those faces visible!

Did Tyrion, in fact, die on on the way back to his home planet?

The way this season is going with Stark near misses, season 5 is bound to have a four corners-type situation where Arya, Sansa, Bran, Rickon, Jon, and the ghost of Robb all come within inches of each other and somehow still fail to see each other.

I still think he might die, dude was stabbed pretty hard before that whole eye-stabby-skull-crushy maneuver he pulled.

There are few things this show can do that would actually turn me off in a significant way, and that would be one of them.
