Basically what Willy Pete said. I don't feel like Superman was as strong thematically as Batman, and if I were to cover it, it would probably be in an abbreviated fashion.

Renee is working at the GCPD? Is that official?

I believe Rucka's Punisher is on Comixology. It's awesome.

Mike Maihack actually did a page of his Supergirl/Batgirl Fifty-TOO pitch. It's adorabrilliant.

Didn't realize that, but you're completely right.

Sean McKeever wrote that Wonder Dog story, not Johns.

Honestly? Close enough.

No. The Wildstorm line was discontinued last year, and Vertigo will remain the place to catch non-continuity adult titles like Sweet Tooth and Fables. The only difference is that characters like Constantine and Swamp Thing are able to interact with the regular DCU.

You don't have to read any of Flashpoint to understand the relaunch, which is partially why it was so frustrating. The New Batman Adventures will just be considered a continuation of B:TAS and will get covered in due time. The status of other DCAU stuff is up in the air.

I've fallen behind on Hellboy, but I'm thinking about reading the entire series from the very beginning. Public Library, here I come!

The previews for issue two are absolutely amazing-terrifying.

And Marvel just announced Route 666 and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang miniseries at Toronto FanExpo yesterday. Robert Aguirre-Sacasa on 666 and Peter Milligan on Kiss Kiss.

Batgirl #23 had an awesome gag about extraneous patches. "The thigh one's empty! Empty!"

In terms of capturing scope, the use of shadows, and the sharpness of the movement, it comes pretty close to Adams. The styles are just completely different.

And they're bringing back multiple Earths with JSA. Because that's a way to keep things from getting too complicated…
