Read Urman's blog post. She talks about this exact worry, and ensures people that the show isn't going to wallow in despair and grief after this.

100% agree

entertainment is manipulative by nature

I DID AND I'D DO IT AGAIN

Somebody on Twitter called him "Magnegro" and I just about died laughing

Alphona's work is absolutely costume design. I'd say that kind of costuming is even more valuable than a superhero uniform because there are so many options to show personality.

Exactly. He needed to follow up to mention Batman or Superman. Where were they in his initial tirade?

Noted and changed.

This. Some stuff is ambiguous, but this is explicit sexual assault.

As much as I'm enjoying the new Valiant books, they do have a bit of a female problem, both in terms of characters AND creators. Harbinger had some great female characters, and Doctor Mirage was a big step in the right direction, but I'd like to see much better female representation.

Pretty much every single thing in that first trade plays a part later in the run.

PINK 4EVER

Dense but also a pretty quick read. Or at least it feels quick.

Considering how many times I've read those issues, that's a pretty shameful error. But hey! I got the back half right.

I know I'm in the minority, but I LOVED those issues. Granted I'm a big fan of graffiti-inspired artists like Wimberly and Damion Scott. Their art has so much energy and style.

"Uh…you! Evil head guy!"

Basically! It's a point based voting system, and I gave all the points I could to Korra, but not enough other voters watch it.
