I cannot wait for this team's Convergence: Shazam series. That and the Rucka/Hamner Question mini are pretty much the only things I'm looking forward to from that event.

I enjoy almost all of Valiant's line, but I'm still waiting for that book that is truly great. The Valiant is a big step in the right direction, I'm hoping their new titles next year really deliver on the promise of the creative teams. Matt Kindt, Clay Mann, and Butch Guice on Ninjak sounds like it could be fantastic.

John Workman joins the team as letterer this week and holy shit it's fantastic. The man's a legend for a reason. Makes a great book even better.

Not delayed. It was always planned as five issues, then a hiatus. It's to prevent delays when the book actually returns, because you need considerable lead-in time when you've got Rios doing that caliber of art.

I put the Blacksad books in the same camp as Charles Burns' X'ed Out/ The Hive/Sugar Skull in that the design quality and substance of the material makes up for the price tag.
