Superman and Frankenstein have been good, too, but I agree. The main title has been a major snooze.

I only know Sanderson from his HBO work, and its always nice to hear his voice on this show.

I really liked how he basically just goes to extreme lengths to poison himself.

Well that explains why Penguin shows up every four episodes. Stonegate's revolving doors move even faster than Arkham's.

I don't mind seeing sci-fi elements in the context of street level stories, particularly when it comes to Bat (and Cat) technology. It's when the sci-fi plots turn Batman into the Terminator or put him on a virtual chess board that it starts to feel out of sync with the character.

It is more of a traditional comic with panels and gutters, yes. We don't know about the ending, but it seems a lot less political than Pax Romana.

Ultimate Fallout 1-6 next month. I am crazy excited for the new wave of Ultimate titles.

Really excited for this
Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man has been the most consistent superhero book of the last ten years. I'm in.

Prelude to Schism was miserable, but Aaron is doing great things on the proper mini.

I'll be covering The Cape next month. It has grizzly bears. It's awesome.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, the machine gun thing got annoying fast.

These are the big ones for me:

Morrison did amazing things for the X-Men. And yes, some of them were disgusting.

I KNEW she looked familiar! Thanks!

Cedar Lake reminded me of the amazing dance between Kathryn and Jakob during the final performance round of season 6. Complexions Contemporary Ballet founders Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson choreographed a routine that was all about the movement forcing the audience to create a story rather than following a

Next month. (I loved it.)

Say what you want about Bendis, but Ultimate Spider-Man may be the most consistent book of the last decade. Even at its worst it was still great superheroics, it just got a little less human. This arc brought it all back to a real emotional place.

Highly recommend Sleeper and his earlier crime books (Lowlife, Scene of the Crime, etc.) but my favorite Brubaker book might be Catwoman. Everyone here needs to read issues 1-24. Thank me later.

Yeah, I really hope Liss finds a way to incorporate some of these characters in the present day Marvel U. Really solid book and it's cool to see Zircher take his art into grittier territor.
