Forgot about his Thunderbolts run. Really twisted stuff with some of the more deranged Marvel characters. I might be in the minority, but I liked his Ultimate Fantastic Four, too. Goat-leg Doctor Doom!

Apparently the issue was delayed because there's a scene with Superman saving a kitten from a tree? Sounds like bullshit.

Must reads: Transmetropolitan. Global Frequency. Stormwatch/The Authority. Fell. NEXTWAVE.

We'll be running an Ed Brubaker interview for our upcoming comics issue. His discussion of the new Criminal was enlightening. Such a great book.

Animato article. Awesome resource.

Wow
These basically all look awesome. I really need to check out Megan Kelso's work.

I LOVE COMPANY. It's probably my favorite musical. That said, I know it's playing here in Chicago on Sunday, I just don't think I'll get a chance to see it with Father's Day and other commitments. Have you seen the John Doyle version with Raul Esparza from a couple years ago? Fantastic camerawork that understood when

The judges can call out Mandy Moore as often as they like. And yeah, the critiques after the fox dance were so confused.

I like that idea Caveman. It definitely did not seem "pulled out of a hat" random this week. Neither did the partnerings.

Girls had cooties. Jenny was 4 years older. All woman, baby.

They had a couple scripts still in production when they got fired, so they were allowed to finish those.

I LOVED Last of the Innocent. Full review next month.

I love DCAU Barbara and would love to see her character move in that direction in the comics. I think she'd be a great commissioner.

I'm going to give Barbara as Batgirl a chance because Gail Simone is writing it, but I feel like it's a step backward for the character. Hopefully this DCNu thing isn't going to be a huge mess.

I think Johns' Wally West Flash and Action Comics with Gary Frank were spectacular.

Flashpoint 2 was a pretty big disappointment. Made me lose interest in picking up the tie-ins.

Read it, loved it, especially the Black Canary chapter. Marcos Martin is an amazing artist, too.

I don't think it'd be appropriate to let Alex compete after being eliminated for an injury. It's happened before on the series, and the dancer wasn't given another chance (Billy dropped out before proper competition started). I'll miss him, though. Here's hoping he's an eventual all-star.

Mary, I adore your avatar. And your amazing insight.

Here's hoping we see more Mark this season.
