Lots of Russians really admire cowboys, for some reason. I find it to be very appropriate for him to, as well.

How much of the show did you want to be devoted to the cleaning of a car? They showed her cleaning it; maybe it took her hours. This ain't Pulp Fiction.

She kicked his head through a wall, though.
Also, she wanted to kill the prisoner even earlier, so he kind of relented from his position on that one rather then screwed up an entirely new thing.

It's perfectly plausible (more than the alternative, I'd say) that she doesn't blame the nation for her rape. How many women in the US Army are raped and still remain fiercely loyal to the US?

Melissa George did alright on Hunted. And I thought if anything, they were handicapping Russell in this episode.

Since they're spies, I don't think they're likely to tease out their hair and wear hypercolor t-shirts. They do want to avoid notice as much as possible, even in the 80's.

He didn't 'blab' anything; he just said he's super busy at work. I'm pretty sure that's allowed.

Lots of actors deserve better shows than they get. Some actors deserve to not be actors at all.
Consider the above discussion of FX using Anger Management to fund shows like this; Charlie Sheen deserves to be tied in a sack and drowned like a mongrel, but here he is still making T.V.

    Brian Williams' daughter, I believe.

Yeah, I got the impression his objection to Facebook wasn't that he's too old to know how it works, but rather that people use it while they're at work instead of doing w/e they're supposed to do.

Morgan trying to get it out of the mailbox was fun. They could have given him the entire episode to get something out of a mailbox, and I suspect it would be just about as good as the parts of this show that didn't have Chris Messina.

He hasn't really been "bed-hopping." There's pretty much only been Winona (whom he married), and the new one. They dropped hints about Sisco, but even if they had been together, that was long enough ago to not reflect badly on him.

It's good for the season, at least. Lots of Art. Let's have faith that they can find another skilled actor (they're out there) to create another memorable character, but until that happens, enjoy the Art we get.

I dunno. It has to go up against Alan Cummings' hair in The Good Wife. That's some steep competition.

I vaguely recall somewhere in this show's history Hank describing the way in which he loves every woman. And maybe it's b/c he's a writer and good at faking sincerity, or maybe b/c David Duchovny makes me want to believe, or maybe it's really true, but I did believe it. He loves Karen more than any of them, and

We will always need more of Marcy's profane rants b/c there is no amount of Pamela Adlon that is adequate.

It needed to be brutal for the plot to work. That whole direction is completely unexpected for this show, so they had to do something to make it stick.

That was an excellent episode all the way around. Though I don't know what it is about British TV that requires the frequent nod to the English Country Manor House plot line.

I hope to someday know a girl who, when told "I knew you'd come," replies "Don't wear that one out." This may be my single greatest aspiration.
