Don't blame Shonda. It's not like the rest of the television dial is packed w/ normal or ugly-looking people.

Don't sell him that short— he IS willing to give up everything for Olivia. He's not asking her to be the only one to make sacrifices for the relationship. She just didn't know what she wanted, so wouldn't make her sacrifices and wouldn't accept his.
•The kids are better off w/o a doubt. That's not even in dispute.
•Jax knows (or should know) that Gemma is THE WORST, and should have taken steps to get rid of her years ago. Failing that, he could have helped his wife when SHE decided to take steps to get rid of Gemma. Failing THAT, he doesn't have a leg to stand on…
Kurt Sutter would have no problem keeping Tara both in Charming and in the club.
She's really impossible to sympathize w/ at this point. Nothing that Tara does can be too bad for Gemma.
Yeah, that's right. Tara is the problem.
I think everyone else in the club was too busy trying to dodge the car themselves to notice that Juice stared it down.
I think the only thing she might really be guilty about would be framing Gemma, and I personally cannot summon any sympathy whatsoever for her.
She can pretty well justify to herself the necessities of lying to Jax about being pregnant, or about taking the boys away from him; she gave him plenty of chances and he…
That was a pretty small maneuver. What trouble is it gonna cause? He didn't say “hire my wife's firm or I'll tax you!” The only people harmed by the maneuver were Lockhart Gardner, and they can't do anything about it.
I didn't mind it b/c it was slight enough that everyone will get away w/ it.
I really wish they'd found a way to make her a judge but keep her in the show; I was looking forward to that dynamic.
Watching her on T.V. is one thing, but can you imagine being married to Alicia?
Can't blame Peter, is what I'm saying.
It might be more shocking, in the sense that they have more unexpected and improbably twists, but they're never earned like they are in this show.
Even if I thought Homeland were falling apart (I don't), I would still think Claire Danes is doing a better job of portraying Mathison than Marguiles is of portraying Florrick. And I like Margulies' Florrick a lot.
Diane liked to see herself as a mentor. She tried to be Alicia's and Cary's at different times.
They've also set Will up as a capable athlete at this point, so he's a natural character to ask.
I kinda thought Charlie was to blame for that one. He was being pretty distracting and unhelpful.
Lena also got arrested. Presumably for punching her girlfriend in the nose, or maybe for destroying evidence. If it's the nose thing, that's definitely a good start of a narrative arc. Even if it's the evidence thing, they could make an arc of it.
If you were Don, how do you not go to that confrontation? Even w/o the slightest intention of piling on, it would be too good to miss.
Right there w/ you, Buddy. Since it has become obvious that Sloan and Don will end up together (despite my protestations), I've been hoping for Don to develop into a character I like more.
