I was pretty sure he was the one who took the call originally, or something. Thanks for confirming.

Yeah, I dunno what they mean about picking up swords; Ike Evans and Ben Diamond both killed people during the run of the show. Maybe they need to take off their shirts and oil up, first.
She can be a strong independent woman w/o him being a jerk. She was obviously looking for her phone to take the call in a manner that wouldn't allow others to hear the conversation.
Charlie flattening his face against the glass is my spirit animal.
Vera and Mercy may be a weird development, but I'm always glad for more Mercy. Since she dumped (?) Danny at her cousin's funeral and her dad's going to Cuba w/o her, I don't see her as having many scenes w/ anyone but Vera for a while.
Yeah, but if you're a Dane and you like The Newsroom, then you're in luck.
It might. I don't get the idea she's celibate.
She was trying to make friends? Abby seems pretty desperate for people to like her, and the strange lady was sorta nice in the beginning.
That's important for a boxer. That's where the power comes from.
"Best" how? You don't like the Georgia twang?
Never enough Lena.
That… wow, that's a surprisingly coherent interpretation. I wonder if that will develop as the season moves on.
If you agree w/ @avclub-ddf39be6eb089c51636d28ea68254f5c:disqus , that accent is the most interesting thing about her.
Maybe it's a shot at Ike, and maybe it's a line, but Vera isn't much older than Stevie. They seem content to stay out of each other's way for now, but that can't have been comfortable for either of them when Ike and Vera first wed.
Welp. I know what my next tattoo is gonna be.
Yes, heavens forbid T.V. show writers should have opinions on things. It's much better now that our entertainment isn't scolding us for all the shit we didn't bother to care about contemporaneously, but totally would have nailed w/o your help, Mr. Sorkin, thankyouverymuch.
He follows The Rock on Twitter™, don'cha know?
If every scene could take place in Charlie's office, and if he could get progressively more drunk as each episode goes on, that would be super.
They ARE showing. So far Ray has prevented the dead girl scandal, prevented the transvestite scandal twice, gotten the kid rapper emancipated, kept the asshole producer's girlfriend from whatevering. He's cleaned up at least one mess in each episode.
He's dangerous b/c he's unpredictable. And I can't recall contempt for anyone untill the support group meeting (murder victim not w/standing), but he's mostly spent his time w/ family members, so maybe he just hasn't had the opportunity.
