The safety pin is related to the spike in hate crimes that has happened in Britain after the Brexit vote. People sporting them are saying, "I'm not a fucking pile of shit that will mock your ethnicity or try to set you on fire for wearing a hijab."

I don't understand what that was. Who's following who home? It looks like a pair of roommates, and one comes home with someone and hooks up, while the other is sleeping on the couch.

Apparently, if a person is in serious danger, the "hosts" will immediately turn into rescue squads and do anything to stop the dangerous situation. You can see when Ed Harris pulls a knife on Anthony Hopkins. The host sitting at the table springs up and grabs the knife with an iron grip.

I viewed this show through a videogamers lens from the start. I kept thinking, goddammit, you don't just shoot everyone in the village. They might have something fun to do if you play along with it.

Unless you're getting them from the brewery, you don't know how long that keg has been around.

I would say that to really enjoy an IPA, and actually catch all of those little notes and nuances that people talk about in the beer nerd circles, you need to not drink the IPA straight out of the fridge. It needs to be in the high 40s F to release all those flavors. Otherwise, it can taste like bitter bilge water.

If you want it from the tap, yes, the black brews are far less common than IPAs. But in terms of bottled beer, porters and stouts are pretty prolific.

Where has it been debunked? I've never heard that before.
