That makes more sense. To clarify, this wasn't something I really wanted to see, then I got somewhat interested in it, but this dialed that interest back down. If I want to see something, I'll see it, but if I'm on the fence, a review or two from trusted sites can often make the difference.

Holy cripes, even with the premonition, blowing up the Sept and several significant characters in it doesn't merit a 5 on the shock scale? I haven't been reading these regularly - what HAS earned a 5?

You seem to be confusing "thinking for yourself" with "taking no information from outside yourself ever." Which you don't do either because a) Here you are, and b) You don't (I feel pretty comfortable assuming) see every movie that is ever released, which is the logical endpoint of what you're saying.

'Merica: Fuck yeah!!!

I'm quite comfortable with AV Club's track record - it's why I come here - so if I'm on the fence about something and they say it ain't great, that carries decent weight for me.

Aw nertz. I thought this looked dumb, then I heard several stories about how interesting the source material was and how local people who worked on it were fans, and I got excited. Now it's back in "pass" territory.

Never mind serpentine, I was yelling at Rickon to just hide behind one of the many burning crucifixes with which Ramsay so thoughtfully covered the battlefield. He passed like three of them!

Droopers.

I just looked it up! Thanks - she was thrilled to hear of it!

Somewhere, my wife just dropped everything she was doing. She works with volatile chemicals, so I will accept your condolences.

Well holy shit, you're right! Muphry's Law wins again!

Grizzly deaths? Just deserts? Guys, I know times are tough, but at least buy a hobo a sandwich to glance at the copy.

All good points, but I wouldn't say he chanced upon him. Edmure's flop-ness is probably well known, and after the failed meet with the Blackfish, Jaime probably moved on to the next logical weak link.

Any comic with Damage Control is a good comic.

Don't write off the fact that Jaime engineered the conclusion of the siege in a way that left no one dead (with the exception of the Blackfish, but he determined that's how he was gonna go out the moment Jaime showed up). After constant war, a battle in which no one dies is pretty astounding.

It's okay, honey, you tried.

With enough quotation marks, it becomes impossible to tell whether a piece of writing is being earnest or ironic. Probably best, in this case.

Respect for tryin'.

So I like Lizzy Caplan just fine, but did Isla Fisher age out or something?

Entirely worth it.
