She's fine now, but I wouldn't call her the best developed character of the show.
The true mark of quality for me was that when the preview for next week's episode came on, I was somehow disappointed that it just looked like regular ol' Agents of SHIELD.
Yeah, that's fair regarding Tyrese. I remember reading at the time when he came back and thinking "Holy shit! Didn't see that coming!" The Carl thing was so bad, though, it made me go back and consider that Kirkman might not have deserved as much credit as I initially gave him for the surprise.
