Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.

I used to work for the (federal) government, so I say this with confidence/indignation: No government office has only one person staffing it.

Ha ha. It's ok. I agree Homeland S1 was better, but I still have such an unapologetically intense love of Homeland that the buzzkill posts really bring me down. But all praise and no criticism make discussions boring.

Frankly, I'm surprised the AVC community rated this
episode so poorly. I didn't see much difference in quality between the
other 9 episodes this season. The whole season has been D level for me.

Please stay here. I don't like buzz kill @avclub-2d5991b08cdf805294c0209b808c1a23:disqus hanging out in the Homeland discussion, bringing me down. Let's agree Dexter is shit and leave Homeland alone, okay?

Don't over think it. Ghost Harry is a manifestation of Dexter's inner monologue. No, it doesn't make sense that a voice in Dexter's head would understand Deb's feelings or other unknowable things. But this is Dexter, and these are the people who gave us, "Hello, whore." You've clearly put more thought into the hiccups

That's my sentiment. If it weren't in the penultimate season, I would stop watching. But I feel like I've invested so much time into the show already that I can't quit now. I want to know how it wraps up, as eyerollingly awful as it is some weeks.

SUPER late to the party on this one…but I was stunned that she was walking around in that skimpy silky nightgown. I feel uncomfortable wearing a non-sexy nightgown/sleepshirt while (begrudgingly) cosleeping with my 1-year-old. Seriously, Jess. Ick.

I agree. I thought this was one of the most dramatic, tense, and satisfying episodes of the season. Virgil is my favorite side character, and I am happy to see him back as a more significant player. Watching Virgil, Max, Saul, Carrie, etc. do surveillance is oddly, quietly thrilling.
