I have over 200 hours into that game. The news that they are completely remaking it and adding more content made my heart swell with joy. Not sure how I feel about the retro graphics overhaul but the creator said that was how he always intended the game to look so I will trust him.

To anyone who has plans to play Dark Souls on the PC, do yourself a favor and use DSfix. It's a godsend. You can find it at the link below.

I finally beat Dark Souls this past weekend and I'm not sure I've every felt such a sense of completion at a game's end. It was a long path to victory and I had to put the game down for stretches of time when I ran into frustrating sections (looking at you Ornstein and fucking Smough). Finally I decided that I

It's a bummer. I went from very excited about Shadowrun being reborn to not finishing the game and having it rot on my Steam list. It felt like a game made to be played on a phone. No depth to the combat, no loot and no exploration. Luckily I can still play my Genesis ROM version and feel the magic.

Maybe it's because my insides look like a river of scuzzy sludge slowly covering the corpses of a thousand heroin overdoses but I totally agree. Love me some Filth Pig.

I got bruises and hickeys, stitches and scars. Got my own theme music, plays wherever I are.

Happy Birthday! It's my birthday, too! BIRTHDAY BIRTHDAY BIRTHDAY

The episodes with Chelsea Peretti are always entertaining. I'd also recommend the episodes with John Mulaney, Jenny Slate, Chris Thayer, Ron Funches, and Jason Mantzoukas. Those are the ones that stood out to me when I just scanned the episode list.

I haven't read Song of Kali since I was around 19 years old (I'm 32 now) so it would not surprise me to find out he did not treat the culture of India with the greatest respect. I do recall him going on and on about how disgusting the main character found the city of Calcutta. I also remember it creeping me the fuck

I completely lost my taste for new Dan Simmons books shortly after reading some of his views on Muslims and Obama. That's not going to stop me from rereading Children of the Night, Song of Kali, Carrion Comfort or The Terror though. I heard I'm not missing much by skipping Flashback anyway.

You Made it Weird, Never Not Funny and Who Charted? have pretty deep archives to choose from.

Completely agree with you on the remake business. "Hills Have Eyes" was a serious gut punch that I was not expecting when I plunked down cash to see it. Also "High Tension" (dumb twist aside) is one of my favorite of that wave of French horror films.

Aja only directed the first one which was fairly entertaining. John Gulager directed this one and I am not surprised it sucks. The only thing I remember about Feast is a little critter titfucking and ejaculating on some woman before it killed her.
