Sorry, I just realized that these Gremlins are going to be CGI.

I loved how they had sharp claws and teeth and all that but, when they were fucking with Gizmo, they weren't using any of that. They were just ripping his hair off with duct tape and running him over with toy trains.

Actually, Gremlins has one of my favorite theme songs ever.

It might be the most meta sequel I've ever seen. At one point, this guy who wasn't buying the main character's story about Gremlins started asking all kinds of questions, basically bashing the premise of Gremlins entirely (But, isn't it always after midnight?) and then, a gremlin popped out of his monitor and bit him…

I actually loved the sequel and merely like the original.

That dead father story was played for laughs, wasn't it? I couldn't honestly see that being a serious sad story.

I consider the first two to be classics (not in a "Goodfellas" sense but, they were absolutely what they needed to be) and…yea, the remake is going to suck and be absolutely worthless. There's no way they could improve it…unless they got a former Simpsons writer.

Did he play the smart gremlin?

Some movies should be remade, I think. Like, if a movie had a good idea but, for some reason, the execution was horribly botched.

We should classify that differently then. It's technically a "re-adaptation", I would say. Same with True Grit.

I just fucking hated his accent. There's a difference between imitating what a southern accent sounds like and imitating what you think a southern accent sounds like and he fell into the latter part to me.

I said this to somebody earlier but, you're more likely to get the reference.
…That alien getting sucked out of the small hole in the window is one of the darkest moments that I've ever laughed my ass off at.
