I knew she was going to bite it early on, just because shower scene, so I didn't get the shock and moment of surprise.  But I get plenty of the really important effect which is thinking "Well, what the hell is going to happen now?  I guess I'll just sympathize with this hapless fellow cleaning up the mess."

The 3D blu-ray of Dial M just came out a few months ago, and it's so awesome that Warners would do a full restoration of an older 3D movie like that.  I wish we had more of those old 3D's released in a similar fashion.

Yeah, I think the writing at least makes perfect sense.  In the next scene, Washington says that he just needed to say one more lie and he would have gotten away with it all.  He  realizes that if he does get away in this final most difficult trial, then he'll be able to 'get away' in every problem for the rest of his

That certainly warrants repeating.  In the effort to erase all ill-will from Quantum, Bond seems to have been plunged right back into the deep end of misogyny.  And the badass female agent decides the job's too tough and becomes a secretary…sigh…

Wow.  Is there anything he actually succeeds at in the film?  It seems like the movie is teasing us say all throughout how the old ways are dying, that this sort of spying and thus this kind of movie are archaic.  It seems to imply that somewhere he'll prove himself but then indeed he fails at everything.  And then

Lindsay Lohan, Paul Schrader and Bret Easton Ellis sound like an awesome combination, but this trailer is hard to like.  It's those filters.  Also, having the score to 'Touch of Evil' playing the whole time does not invite a positive comparison…

Oscar-snub-party founder Gary Oldman did not attend, despite selecting 'maybe' on the party's Facebook page.  The guests displayed a conspicuous lack of bad-mouthing, as who among them would have done otherwise?

Yeah, it was kind of a crazy choice to make his character humorous at times.  But it paid off somehow…I lol'd in the theater at "Do you hear that?  Smiley has questions!" just because of his delivery.

Considering?  Listen man, you're past that, it's time for action.  Boycott away, so we can have these nice movies to ourselves.

I was always under the impression that it was Ninamori's father who popped up in the window during her bathing scene.  Ninamori saying it was good to get rid of the secretary, and his comment that she's so mature for her age makes much more sense in that context (assuming of course that sense has any play in this

When they announced that they wanted to get either Sofia Coppola, Gus Van Sant or Bill Condon, I thought only one of these folks wouldn't have turned out at least a fascinating sort of tentpole flick.  Which is why the eventual final selection was no surprise at all…

I liked this just to reward myself for sitting through Solaris and knowing what you mean.

They make a damn fine ottoman.

I thought the girls were pretty good…they were only dumb and silly in the beginning, before things got very bad for them.  Dumb people exist.
