That was it.

Me too, and I'm a straight male. Damn, that's powerful stuff.

"Blurred Lines" starts off sounding like something I might enjoy. Then… then it just never goes anywhere. The entire tune sounds like 1/3 of a song waiting to be fleshed out.

No, his father is the former host of "Animal Crack-Ups."

I watched a handful of episodes recently and it really holds up well. Some of the big character/plot reveals were genuinely surprising (not to mention well-earned,) the animation was much more good than bad (no one's perfect), and the voice work was strong from top to bottom.

Possibly my favorite Muppet line ever.

Dammit, Slattery! You had ONE job.

Has anyone watched "Muppet Babies" lately? If so, how has it aged? Most of the Muppet movies have held up alright ("The Great Muppet Caper" is still the best), but I haven't seen the cartoon since the 80s.

As bland as "ALF" the live-action show often was, I remember "ALF Tales" having a decent amount of wit to it; perhaps the creators were inspired by the old "Fractured Fairy Tales" style of sarcastic-yet-still-enthusiastic storytelling. A magic battle between good and evil in which the two combatants hurl weaponized

Even being a cold-blooded murderer can't make 60s-era Barbara Eden anything less than an absolute knockout.

I was kinda hoping Posehn would sit down for the interview, say, "because it fucking sucks," politely thank Ms Eakin, and just walk out.

Fuck TLC. "Waterfalls" was ok, but the rest of their music was ass.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense.

The "Sambo" exchange is a highlight of the show's entire run, and it wouldn't have worked without both actors selling it just right. I'm not a big fan of the "you have to be taught by your parents," which is true but too on-the-nose, but the rest of that scene is a classic.

Best "it's the thought that counts" attempted channeling of a beloved actor/character:

I'm not saying there isn't precedent for the Oscars honoring big-budget spectacle, that's for sure. But "none of the movies you mention are very good to begin with (especially "Cleopatra," which is boring as fuck.) But precedent isn't the same as justification.

I'm not implying that one film is hands-down superior over the other in every aspect. Just that "Beauty & The Beast" was (in my opinion) the better of two very good films.

A fair point, but if you've ever pretended to be Mr Burns while singing "See My Vest," then it's at least a wash.

Worst "Best Picture" winner of the last fifteen years.
