I was at that Mad Men party, and the lengths people went to dress up were incredible. They posted pictures of the partygoers' costumes here: http://www.vita.mn/user_ima…

Yeah, I'm on the same page with Miller. It's very subtle, so subtle i missed it until my date pointed it out. A testament to the writing that they don't feel the need to talk down or explain everything to the audience.

Mike Rowe
I can't believe no one has said Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs fame. I feel like he'd be the perfect guy to get beers with: personable, funny, could probably drink you under the table. Yeah…

Cleavage
And really, are there any of us who aren't cleavage fans out there?

I hate the AV Club
Damnit AV Club, I was really hoping to get some actual work done today. Now all I see in my future is Winterbells.

Just listened to the Filmspotting review of Harry Potter, and according to them Harry Potter was shot in digital and is beautiful to look at. What say you, internets?

Digital Video
Rabin, you're really on an anti-digital video kick today. What's with the hating? Are you unequivocally against DV, or just how it was used in The Answer Man and Shrink?

MGMT
Does that stand for something?

Glad to see more game reviews on AVC. I especially appreciate you giving equal credence to obscure freeware titles like Today I Die, which I never would have discovered if not for this site.

The Fog of War/McNamara
Rabin, you list The Fog of War as if that's McNamara's main contribution to the public. Isn't that a little like Richard Nixon, the subject of Ron Howard's oscar-winning "Frost/Nixon" has died?

Minneapolis
Wow, skipping over Chicago for a Minneapolis screening? As a resident of Minneapolis, I'm pleased that we're getting limited runs/special engagements, but I have to wonder what drew them to our market over others? Did they just want to make a big "+" sign on the US map?

I'm so confused…
…these comments fly in the face of the Bill Murray comments under the Harold Raimis interview. So which is he? A disconnected, disrespectful jerk or a lovable, affable everyman?

Weakest moment of WW
*minor spoilers for an upcoming episode*

I wholeheartedly agree, bradley. While I'll be the first to step forward in defense of equal rights, this is not the way to go about it. While I'm all for these guys getting egg in their face, I don't think it helps the cause to be the ones throwing the egg on camera. Let them embarrass themselves by getting arrested

The Truman Show
I would love to go back and experience The Truman Show for the first time. Like Memento or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, it's one of those movies that slowly reveals itself to you so that you don't really know what's going on until at least halfway through. That slow reveal was so wonderful to

The Trauma Center games are surprisingly intense. You'll laugh at yourself when you realize your brow has a layer of sweat and your face muscles are tense from concentration on the cartoony graphics of this ER game. Content wise, you're operating on cartoony arms with glass shads in them. Not very gory, but just a

Claire
Noel, I think you underplayed the most exciting part of the episode for me: Kate's true motivations for returning to the island. I've always thought they had shaky reasoning for writing Claire out of the show, and I've been looking forward to her return next season. I feel like Kate's mention of Claire is the

Longtime fan
I've been a longtime fan of BNL, although my fandom has started to take a hit when the released a childrens' album on the heels of their holdiay album. They're studio work has definitely taken a dive, but they're live show has always been great because of the chemistry between Steve and Ed. They'll

This is worth watching frame by frame
Did anyone else notice that Marge hit Homer with her car because she was texting on her cell phone? They pack more visual gags in this sequence then any other chunk I've seen on the Simpsons.

Hilarious
I don't care that it's an act, I think it's funnier to watch this than to see Dustin Hoffman chat about his grandkids like we care. Plus, Joaquin's act lets Dave do what he does best: demean and deprecate his guests.
