I never saw it because I made the mistake of watching the adaptation of A Ring of Endless Light with perennial movie-ruiner Mischa Barton cast as Vicky Austin. I have foresworn all other Disney adaptations of books I love.

Little wary
I'm a bit suspicious of the A Wrinkle in Time movie. While alive, L'Engle would never give her consent for any of the previous attempts at movie-izing it because she wanted an adaptation that stayed true to the book and her particular hobby horse was making sure that Charles Wallace stayed named Charles

Help me out here…
What was the line about Toby's grundle?

That would be a "Hooter Hider" though I think they have since rebranded to the less silly Baby au Lait.

Yeah, that was my thought, too.

Apparently someone hasn't checked their blood sugar often enough.

Oh boy
The last time we got a sitcom based on an internet forward, we ended up with "8 Simple Rules for Dating my Teenage Daughter".

edked, I'm with you on The Kindness of Women. It was the book that first convinced me that I might like to have children. He died a week before my daughter was born.

As long as it's not as bad as…
The Body Artist.

I was trying to figure out where I'd seen him before!

borderline mentally challenged
"Oh, you named them!"

It's been awhile since Designing Women…
While I was watching, I was thinking that the make up department did a bang up job on Jan Hooks. Then I googled her to see what she looks like now. Then I grimaced. Yikes.

Not sure
I guess now that John Krasinski has directed a real movie, he's going to be directing more episodes. I don't know if this was a weird thing cut off on my end or if it was intentional, but the abrupt cut from Michael saying the word "balls" (I think) was kind of off. Plus, no real resolution to the daycare bit

Now wait just a darned minute
I KNOW I saw Lee Pace in the trailer. Is he not one of the suitors?

Interesting
I was tempted to see this at VIFF, but being from Mississippi, I'm wary of documentaries about the state since it can be awfully tempting for them to turn into a Lookit-these-dumb-hicks kind of thing (deserved or not). Plus if I recall correctly, despite Morgan Freeman, this is actually a Canadian-made

Most of my non-HIMYM friends…
shun all other TV as well. So fuck them. I love television.

preggers!
I keep hoping we'll get to Lily and Marshall having children sooner rather than later. On the other hand, if they made it realistic like they have a lot of their other "growing up" moments, it could be reeeeeeally depressing and splinter the gang.

Well, poo. The other comment wasn't there and then I thought this one was eaten thereby saving me some embarrassment.

firing on all cylinders tonight
We got to see Oscar's ex at least twice - once in the Sick Day episode and again where they went to see Pam's art show. I like how he was using "the neg" (or whatever) on the warehouse guy.

This may have been brought up previously…
but it just occurred to me that they're taking a swipe at Greg Behrendt (not looking up that spelling) with the whole Dealbreakers-to-talk-show thing.
