I didn't say, and nor do I think, that white countries are inherently superior.

If Sweden is racist, what is Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Russia, Serbia to name only a few. Of course every country has some racists because it's a part of human nature and Sweden is no exception, but there's a reason immigrants are flooding to get into the country – they know the reality, which is…
This is a joke, right? 'Racist' Sweden has taken in an enormous number of immigrants and refugees, and has very generous welfare available for new migrants. They're one of the most open and least racist countries on the planet.
Yes others have pointed this out already. I thought they had only picked up on the advanced tech after beaming them up, but if they noticed beforehand that makes sense. Anyway it wasn't the reason I disliked this episode.
This one seemed like a mess to me and just a bit too jokey, gave up halfway through. Might have worked much better as a two-parter and given the characters more time to develop and the Vikings more time to credibly drop their god. I have been watching Tom Baker four-parters recently so maybe that coloured my…
10) Get Schwifty
Yeah, you're probably right there. The average for the last 50 years is ~4% though and I predict the next 100 years will be more unstable and crisis and war-filled.
Keep in mind that's a trillion dollars worth of equipment in 22nd-century dollars, e.g in 150 years at 5% inflation, that's $660 million in today's dollars.
Oil is used to make plastic, synthetic rubber, fabrics, fertiliser, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, dyes, etc., etc. We will definitely still be extracting and using oil in the 22nd century.
No, laws against murder and theft benefit the poor the most because the poor can't afford private security. Although the idea of a purge as a tool of oppression by the rich is still absurd.
Did not expect this show back so soon!
I know people who have WAY worse relationships than Beth & Jerry – my neighbours for example (although they're still together so maybe the foundation of their marriage is screaming at each other). They keep telling us Beth & Jerry have this terrible relationship but it's not *that* bad, especially as every second…
As soon as Rick said he was going to the Pentagon I knew this episode was heading in the wrong direction – would have been so much better if they went to the 'real' Pentagon instead of the earth one.
The AV Club was right the first time, this show is just mediocre – for starters satirising Hollywood is just tired low-hanging fruit. Other than the novelty of random animals (which soon wears off) there's really not much that's fresh here.
That was my biggest problem with the first episode – the lack of atmosphere. My memory of the book is that Mr Norrell is a bit more mysterious/slightly sinister at first – when they visit the house they get the sense of magic being done as they're lead through a labyrinth to the library and after reading the books…
He's right, people have become insanely sensitive. College campuses: Where everyone farts all the time because they don't know how to laugh (to borrow from Bernard in Black Books).
"You lose, get off my property!"
But Barry's goal is just to destroy Archer, I was thinking of a villain who has larger ambitions, e.g. personal enrichment, world domination, etc. Archer hasn't had any recurring villains of that type (except maybe Malory herself, which just illustrates my point: so often they spend whole episodes just fighting…
They were actually successful in quite a few missions this season:
Well the cyborgs fit in with the advanced tech found in spy shows, whereas aliens, voyages through the human body and fights with killer carnivorous plants are something else.
