Music TV
It's an old complaint, but its veracity warrants repeating:

I too enjoy the efforts of my pepper grinding. Perhaps crab legs would be more apt?

.
Hopefully they concentrate some capital on releasing some of the catalog movies (i.e. Amelie) on Blu-ray.

"Oscar-baiting Movie about Nazis and/or Holocaust" should be a genre on Netflix. Will we ever see a year without one?

Well done Chesapeake. I can't help but seeing people watching bad movies on purpose as engaging in some sort of self-congratulatory exercise—grinning and looking around for approval, the ultimate in ironicalness.

…AND I HOPE THEY BURN IN HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Samuel L. Jackson wander into frame…all good actors, but something about them throws me off."

Isn't it taken for granted that Jews "control" Hollywood? This isn't news. Look at early Hollywood history. Virtually all of the major and minor studios (until UA) were owned by Jews. Look at the credits of most any movie. Who's producing it?

Carry me to my wheelchair…
He'll be fine as long as he doesn't get banned from the Clockwork Orange conventions.

Thailand? My goodness, what sort of zany, madcap and not-at-all-contrived situations could they find in Thailand? I look forward to Zach Galiafinnakis saying some really not very funny stuff!

The Christopher Hitchens hypothesis about why women aren't funny aside—http://www.vanityfai… Littleford was one of the funniest Daily Show correspondents in the history of the show. Perhaps not Colbert or Carell caliber, but certainly funnier than that hack Corddry or the British dudes.

shit role
Do over-the-top cameos in shitty movies warrant mention now?

LaToya Sheen
She's an MJ Truther! Go get her Charlie.

Head in the Clouds
Not a great movie overall, but an excellent example of an all-over-the-place movie coming together in the third act.

I think it's far more menacing than that.

Most movies were shot with hand-cranked cameras and, early on, projectors were hand-cranked too. So you could see the same movie in any variety of speeds. The flammable nitrate film stock would project a more luminescent picture than the non-flammable variety you see today.

I used to prefer Keaton, but he relied far too much on the banana peel. At his best (i.e. The General) Keaton was every bit as good as Chaplin, but he fades when you take all of his work into account. Keaton's gags are often contrived and required improbable setups whereas Chaplin just rolls with his environment.

Several questions:

There is an inverse scale which matches one's appreciation for Willy Wonka with the degree to which one thought The Matrix has redeeming qualities.

There are four versions of the Wizard of Oz on Blu-ray:
1.) Amazon Ultimate Collectors Edition - $5x.xx
2.) Best Buy UCE - $5x.xx
3.) Target 3-disc "Emerald Edition" - $34.99
4.) Walmart edition - $19.96

What's up with all the love for Galiaagfinnnakis? His character in the Hangover was OK, but dropped pants is to physical comedy what dick jokes are to stand up. It's on par with a Two and a Half Men joke about pizza.
