It's probably a bit out there, but I'd have cast Hugh Laurie as Littlefinger if anyone at all.

Charles Dance, Gillian Anderson, Burn Gorman, Phil Davis and Carey Mulligan are all worth checking in for as well,

Cracker was strong beyond the time it spent on each case. Some of it's most famous stories — To Be A Somebody, or the one with the romantic serial killers from the first season — have murder mysteries that could easily be told in far less time should someone stupidly decide that they should be doing that.

I think you're a bit quick to assume that. I thought it was an okay show that let its mediocrity overwhelm itself somewhere post Company Man but definitely before the first season finale. Briefly revived my interest for that cute speedster and electro crazy, but otherwise uninterested.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's acutely aware of how Alana fits the profile.

"Who would go to Dracula for therapy?"

I saw it as windscreen wipers, scraping the levels back. I guess pendulum makes sense though, since that implies trance and the mediations I'm familiar with tend to involve stripping levels of focus away. Makes sense.

Definitely. This show's compelling enough to send me straight to vegan.

Unusual euphemism, but I'll take it.

You mean Riverrun, yeah?

I've not felt that the Dany stuff's been particularly problematic this season, but the Jon material's been largely pointless.

It's conceivable that he might not have noticed, realised later and had a word with the TARDIS? I dunno. It's a plot hole, certainly, but I'm interested in making it work.

Probably not interested in helping Clara out too much. The TARDIS is implied to distrust her.

I kind of want this show to be followed weekly, even though I found little merit to it. I just need somewhere to talk about all the man ass.

"There’s a common term for a television show which makes a change and gets significantly better:“Growing the beard,”

Maybe he can hang out with Jay Tyler there.

There was a lot of talk of bringing Jay from Wonderfalls over onto Pushing Daisies. Perhaps that was it?
