True that it doesn't stick to the narrative, but I kind of prefer this one. It's a little more likely, tbh.

I think she hates him a little _too_ much.

Yeah, Debbie's boyfriend's gay. My guess is that Mickey gets wind of what's going on, like last season, and decides to take matters into his own hands — and then, if you follow, takes matters into his own hands. And then his arse.

I assume that Caroline's not the cause of Adam's elliptical qualities, but there to denote a shared trauma and to add shading to the character. I don't think she'll stick around beyond her arc though.

It might help if you look at the first two episodes this season as a bridging pair between this season's arc and the last one. So the new season's only two episodes deep, and we'll get a better sense of arcs and what-not next week.

But how did the turtle get into the bottle?

From Sonia's season review:

Edit: double-post. NuDisqus suuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

Do we know anything about the cast attached to the shows?

Not to be "that guy" either, but Google tailors its search results to the individual user. It's how some people were able to google "Cairo" the day after the Egyptian riots and only find links to package holidays.

I thought the whole cut/uncut thing was meant to be fairly facile, but then I'm reading all this stuff here about people relating to Paddy. Is this really that much of an issue?

WHAT INSANITY HAS MAN WRAUGHT-IRON STAIRCASE!?

Though the logic in that case is this case would be that the third character behind the door was a hallucination too.

He was playing it like he was attracted to her, I thought. They had decent chemistry too.

I'm guessing that Hatake's fiercely security officer is another one. Adopted "son", my ass. Adopted lab test, more like.

Yeah. Show strikes me as overplotted, and not particularly well-plotted. I think as things start unravelling more the show will improve. This kind of thing usually has a little too much second act busy-work for strong third-act set-pieces.

I'm still thinking that it's contemporary scientists experimenting with a primordial form of life, like Neon Genesis Evangelion.

They're not related. They've got completely different accents and everything! :P

Looking through imdb, Whedon's usual casting directors are absent from this program. SHIELD's using a couple of people who worked in a low-level capacity on the Marvel superhero films, so it looks like Marvel brought it in-house.
