ROBIN NEEDS BRACES

It's like a so-so orgasm.

What's it's "bend bars/lift gates"?

Spader Man is Bob Barker's super hero identity.

Good night, John Boy.

That's so cynical.  People don't get away with crimes because they're famous, they get away with crimes because they're *rich*!

What kind of reporting is that?  They didn't even figure out what sandwich he had?

Eddic scholars hate him!

The original "My Humps" was about buboes.

@avclub-109d9c5db71c5abfc6ac687a633bbf13:disqus *where* does the OP say what you're saying?  Let's look at the  's post sentence by sentence shall we?

The OP doesn't say what you're saying it says.  The content just isn't there.  The post says that says that because it "appears" to be FC is "likely fabricated".  It isn't accusing the parents of anything.  It isn't saying "the authors are frauds because the OP knows better because they have an aspie kid".  It says

You're reading way too much into their statement, I think.  The line is "it appears that this book is the product of 'facilitated communication' and is most likely fabricated."  Besides the obvious fact that they used "weasel words" to show there was doubt about their position, there is no finger pointing at all.

I don't think the OP is suggesting the parents are perpetrating fraud - there's nothing in their post that says that at all. The complaint is about FC, not the parents.  They could very well be victims of some parasite who's praying on their hopes and fears.

I haven't read this book (and am far from an expert) but "facilitated communication" comes pretty darned close to quackery.  The idea that by "helping" a profoundly non-communicating person type out their thoughts is *seriously* problematic - the likelihood that the facilitator unconsciously (or consciously, even)

Thus endeth the lesson.

I'm not sure, but it's responding to the antibiotics.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!

To the end?

Too bad the "scold's bridle" has fallen out of fashion.
