Hostess fruit-flavoured chips from the 70s.  I thought they were disgusting, but I'd like to know just *how* disgusting they were.

Man, I can put up with a lot of stupid stuff but that "gluniack" thing just rubbed me the wrong way.

My daughter has grown out of them.  I help her with her cosplays though.

I bought a Bowmore a couple weeks back as a cheaper Islay.  It's quite nice.

Trurl's cure:

My favourite recipe instruction comes from the game Bureaucracy written by Douglas Adams and that is "stir until bored".
It's a cooking technique I've adapted to all my recipes.

I've still got games I bought in *last* summer's sale that I haven't played.

Nothing!  I managed to buy nothing so far!  I couldn't be happier.

On purpose?

Have you talked to the HR people at your work?  They may have some suggestions that might help.  And if they don't have anything useful to say, it's at least a good indicator that it's time to leave.

I couldn't take any more of a pay cut without switching to an all cat-food diet.

Glad to hear that your bloods ok and you don't have to resort to vampirism.  Really, it just causes more troubles than it cures.

I stopped many, many years back when I realized that I never actually *enjoyed* it, I just suffered from it.  I was the type that would run and scream and babble psychotically when high - I never understood how people could get "mellow" or sit through an entire movie.  Or just *sit*, even.  I think my brain chemistry

I've got two greys and they are by far the most tractable animals I've ever met, to the level of being able to leave plates of food on the coffee table without worries.  I think it may be related to their race careers - they both raced till they were five, so they spent a very long time without coming into contact

Good luck and congrats!

Man, paid days off and benefits. I don't even want to *think* how long its been since I've seen any of those.

Fuck a duck that sucks.  Hope it all works out.

I've spent the past week trying to acclimate a stray and her two kittens (they're living under a neighbour's shed) to human contact.  I've got her to the point where I can pat her, thought it still takes her quite a while and a lot of cheese before she stops hissing and warms up to me.  I've managed to touch both

"We're only waiting here on Rigel"

I liked Neil Young's "Trans" for a while there, but can't bring myself to listen to it any more.
