Seems pretty random.

I never play games on "hard".  I suck at games and have no interest in not being able to finish them.

The only one I remember was something like "Your Moose is Cooked, or Quit Arson Around".

I try to maintain a level of "plausible deniability" in my commenting.

I watch the miniseries ever few years.  It's some of my favourite television of all time.

I was a few years older and saw no flaws either.  We spent a lot of time yelling "Kali Ma!" after that.

I'm only reading stuff off of Project Gutenberg these days.

It certainly wasn't my favourite.  Small Gods is widely considered one of his best, maybe try that.  It's a standalone book as well.

That's what I wanted to do, but unfortunately spent Saturday repointing the chimney and Sunday entertaining inlaws.  So no relaxing for me.

Girls don't take passes on scripts designed to manipulate the masses.

I'm using Feedly too and quite like it.  My requirements are light - I only use it to monitor news sites and technical sources, I don't really use it for entertainment stuff and I never use "social" features.

I had wanted to spend Sunday relaxing (after spending Saturday repointing the chimney) but it turned out my wife forgot that her mother and brother were coming over for a bbq, so I got no pop culture stuff done.

Shadow of the Colossus is on sale now - I bought it and started playing it the other night, but realized I wasn't in the mood for that much melancholy and switched to Little Big Planet Carting which is the opposite of whatever "melancholy" is.

The NFB website has a great collection online.  It's a big timesuck.

I'm not saying that, I'm saying that there are no guarantees - even if you *do* take the deal.  I'm sure we all know people who made all the safe choices but still got nothing in return.  The safe bet is still a bet.

"Following your heart" means leaving the comfort and safety of your regular life and blazing your own trail. The reason you do it is because you believe that the it will lead to some sense of satisfaction and fulfilment that the mundane day-to-day life won't.

Well, when I was a teenager I dropped out of school to follow my heart (and a beautiful, beguiling woman) and ended up living in doorways and subway gratings in a Montreal winter instead of hitch hiking across the southern states.  I may have been following mental illness and not my heart in that case, it isn't

The highest score I've managed to get was over 32,000 (I didn't memorize it).  If I had time I'd play right now…

My Dikachu costume worked pretty well - I just took off my pants, did a handstand, and put on pair of Groucho glasses.

They were going to make a Camus doll but eventually just went "why bother?"
