I was "60/40 like" on it until Episode 2 when Ben Daniels absolutely sledgehammered his scene in Father Tomas' apartment in which he explains how he became an exorcist and why he does it.

CaptainAmerica-Man and lumpy rutherford do a much better job than I ever could of explaining it, but yeah, I did not catch a "being a lesbian is bad and if you succumb to that urge, you're just inviting an evil demon to possess you and/or your family" thing.
Right - I used "demon-fighters" facetiously, shorthand for "assets to an exorcist" or something like that. Anyway, I'd surprised to learn that anything exorcism-related, even if it's just a bunch of bookstore owners on the road from Chicago to Florida, would be heretofore unbeknownst to Father Marcus, who's been in…
I didn't really catch that vibe, the whole "punished for being a sinful lesbian" thing. I mean, that creepy bald guy deliberately appeared in the road at the exact moment Kat was being a distracted driver, but I don't think it was because she was distracted by her lesbian love interest, i.e., the creepy bald guy's…
I like that, makes sense, etc., but I'm wondering (and again, I'm not arguing here, just asking questions - I've always been terrible at following plots):
The China Wall is not the issue!
Maybe this movie could be pretty good, despite being about Jesus
Stay out of China, Damon! Stay out of China, deadbeat! Keep your ugly fucking white-washing ass out of my wall community.
I like this show - honest question, not a criticism (i.e., "I don't get it" because I'm a dumb-ass, not because it's stupid or wrong or whatever)…
Underrated indeed - many people look at him and see one minor deficiency or limitation, while missing the big picture of the overall quality of his multi-faceted talent. If only there were an expression for that.
Heard in southern Ohio:
"Apocalypse Now" is really about Martin Sheen
"Ravenous" is in my top-20 all-time favorite movies. I still don't get why Guy Pearce has disowned it - his performance is the best thing about the movie and there are a lot of really good things about it.

Internet has been commended as being strongly vaporal. Which bothers some men. The word itself makes some men uncomfortable. Vapor. Yes, they don't like hearing it and find it difficult to say. Whereas without batting an eye a man will refer to his "smoke" or his "fag" or his "coffin nail."
