LETS DO THIS!!!

Firefly, full stop. It's not that I hate it, but the way people talk about is ridculous. Sure it had promise, and sure, it deserved more than 13 episodes, but it's not THAT good. Everything it did, Farscape already did, and did much better.

Interesting approach. Me, I usually rely on Ja Rule to help me make sense of a tragedy.

That's the fascinating thing about Simmons. I don't thing he does regard himself as a genius. If you wade through his interviews you'll see he has nothing but contempt for the music industry, and regards KISS as a trashy band that at least knew it was trash.

I'm pretty sure that was the entire plan, right? Marry Dany to Drogo, and then murder her, forcing him to cross the sea for honor and vengeance.

Are they doing Oldtown this year? Man that plotline is weird.

I think you are mixing up Caesar with Augustus.

Ah. I can't rule out your theory, but I don't think he's coming back. If you look at how the scene plays out in that episode, there's no moment where they could have done a body swap. He has a whole moment with Stannis where Stan asks him to bend the knee, which he refuses to do. It seems pretty clear that was the

What foreshadowed it?

I don't recall that, but it's been a few years since I read them so it could well be. Fits with my theory anyway!

Right, exactly. Isn't the ultimate direction of the story that people need to cast aside their petty squabbles and unite to fight the real threat in the North? Having Dany take control of the Dothraki fits perfectly into that. Otherwise, why even bother having her captured?

Could be, but I just don't think they are going to walk Dany's character back so far as to make her an out and out damsel in distress just waiting for rescue. I'm not saying it'll be easy, but I think ultimately she doesn't escape from the Dothraki, she takes them over.

I hated the Iron Islands plotline in the books, but only cause Victarion sucks. Euron is such a cool character. I can't wait to see him on the screen.

Exactly! This is why stormtroopers can't shoot for shit either, unless they are fighting other unnamed mooks. Then they dominate.

Ah, but Stannis has a name, while the two Bolton doofuses didn't. In TV/Movie/Book logic, that gives him an immediate buff to all combat abilities, and the Bolton dorks an immediate debuff. It is known.

That's just like…your opinion man.

Last season was muddled in the first half, but by the time ep 6 rolls around it really picked up steam. This episode just continues that good trend.

Yeah but doesn't it make more sense for them to be older? besides, in the books they made all the kids older too, so it makes sense that their parents would be older as well.

Exactly. I think Jorah and Daario show up to Vaes Dothrak to find Dany already at the head of a Dothraki army, which her dragons flying overhead.

OK but the point is, no one complained when Theon got castrated, which I'd argue is a worse fate than rape, since your stones don't grow back, but having Sansa raped off camera was suddenly "too much." Either they are both too much, or neither is.
