I don't think anyone who wasn't spoiled saw that coming.

I'm with you, except I wouldn't exclude CBB or Portlandia. Both of those shows are very hit-and-miss for me, and Portlandia hasn't had a hit in quite a while. CBB is probably IFC's best show, but Reggie Watts is really the only reliably entertaining part of it. Hopefully Garfunkel & Oates can break from this trend.

The funniest part of this episode are the commenters complaining about the grade. (And I thought this was a good, funny episode.)

Steve Zahn was great on Treme as well. I never ever understood the vitriol some people had for his character/performance. He's a delight.

They were better at posing than the prison was at the end of season two. At least I could tell what they were.

Yeah, and with downvotes no longer being displayed, how am I supposed to express my seething hatred of things?

Nathan For You is scheduled for "summer," but probably sooner rather than later if Comedy Central wants to take advantage of the Dumb Starbucks publicity.

Raffi is still funny. Raffi is the only reason I still watch The League. Jason Mantzoukas' delivery kills me for some reason.

Co-sign. I found myself missing Liz and Liz these last couple weeks. This season is very much more varied than the last. At this point I'd even welcome the return of Dr. Armond, who was my least favorite part of S1.

I agree, and I think Comedy Central specifically is in a renaissance period right now, after years of being the "Daily Show/South Park/Tosh/whole bunch of canceled crap" channel.

Asylum > (sizable gap) > Murder House > (black hole) > Coven

Asylum was boring and dry? Lily Rabe as a demonically possessed nun, James Cromwell as a Nazi mad scientist with a comically small penis, and Ian McShane as Murder Santa were boring to you? American Horror Story will never ever top Asylum, at least not with R Murph at the helm.

If I'm not mistaken, "sound editing," as it pertains to the award, actually refers to the production of sound effects (explosions, spaceship sounds, etc.) The award for "sound mixing" is closer to being the audio equivalent to the film editing award.

I know I'm supposed to find this appalling because Jonah Hill something something… but, you know what? Fuck it. He's a good actor. I'll out myself as pro-Jonah. And this is just the Oscars. They gave a statue to Crash, so all of this really is meaningless.

I quit this season after the last 2013 episode, but seriously, Asylum (season two) is well worth watching. Ryan Murphy somewhat relinquished control to Tim Minear for that season, and it really shows. There's a coherent story arc! And a few likable characters! And Lily Rabe is actually given a substantial role and she

I have no idea what the SAG rules are, but Game of Thrones does this too (alters its opening main cast credits depending on who is actually in the episode.)

I lost someone earlier this year to cancer and this episode brought me to tears. Intensely realistic.
