"what the hell is the point of this show anymore?"

It wasn't my intent to make it personal. Sorry. I just realized that I've posted way too many comments in this episode's thread and therefore will proceed with my self-flagellation.

One thing I've noticed about this show is that no one has phone conversations. Everyone drives to one another's home or place of work to talk to them about ANYTHING. I get that it's more dramatic that way, but sometimes it really sticks out.

For me, this was the best episode of the season so far. The only slightly weak spot was the airport sketch, because of how shockingly similar it was to that SNL sketch (though K&P took the joke farther and to a weirder place, as they always do.) California Vice was an all-time great. Peele's slow-mo smile right after

How dare I use a question mark to get across my bewilderment at the overwhelming negativity in both the review and the comments!

If these shows are two of the most unfunny shows you've ever seen, you haven't seen very many shows (I could name a dozen currently airing that are much worse.) Not trying to be a dick, but dial back the hyperbole a bit. Both shows are pleasantly mediocre so far.

He's the only reason I'm halfway intrigued by a new season of zombie show, so I think I'm out if/when they kill Larry Gilliard Jr.

Jeremine

Thomas Lennon is hilarious, Megan Hilty is gorgeous, Echo Kellum sells the hell out of the mediocre lines he's given. It's watchable.

I actually thought this was the best episode so far? The funniest to me, anyway. Feels like the editing team is figuring out how to pace the show, and it's making a world of difference.

This was boring. So much expository dialogue and too many dull flashbacks. By the time things actually started happening (in the last ~10 minutes), I had pretty much stopped caring.

The coffee table line got the biggest laugh out of me.

Kudos to you, sir, and kudos again.

With Breaking Bad gone and Homeland shitting the bed, The Good Wife is by far the best drama on TV right now. Okay, Masters of Sex is promising, but The Good Wife is just killing it this season.

I was surprised by how much I didn't hate this. I didn't even dislike it (although I don't really care for Sean Hayes, which is a bit of an obstacle to liking it.) I'd go so far as to say that some of the workplace stuff was kinda good! Thomas Lennon! Echo Kellum! Megan Hilty! I would watch these people weekly.

Today is not a good day

It makes sense that Joel McHale brought Dan Harmon back. Jeff was the character that felt the most "wrong" to me in season 4 (and I hope they can somehow de-canonize that Thanksgiving episode with his dad), and maybe McHale could really sense that.

"I feel wounded," I think.

"Guess you dodged a bullet with me." Will Graham, you just broke my fucking heart.

I would feel more confident in saying this was a great episode if Glen and Rolo weren't such terrible actors.
