I gave it an A. This show is fucked up

fucking A, B

This last stretch of episodes was incredible. I watched them alongside Arrested Development Redux, and it probably contributed to why I found AD to be so underwhelming. The B totally blew them away. Season Two of Bitch-23 (the actual s2 episodes, not the s1 holdovers) is the best season of a network sitcom since

NOT THE B!

Oh yeah, The Neighbors. That happened.

I may be wrong, but I think it was the only network sitcom new to this season that wasn't canceled. That might be a factor in why it was nominated for "New Program" (weirdly, the award is not called "best new program" or "outstanding new program," just "new program?")

It's a shame that Enlightened was totally forgotten. But the Tatiana Maslany/Orphan Black love almost makes up for it. Almost.

I hope Clear History is just 90 minutes of Larry David suggesting better names for the car.

It's a damn shame that Enlightened was totally forgotten (it should be nominated twice instead of TWD and HoC.) But the Tatiana Maslany/Orphan Black love almost makes up for it.

Special Agent Dana Scully

I guess I didn't make it clear that I think he's an unfunny comedic actor as well. And that episode was goddamn tedious.

I didn't mean to imply that. The Office's last good season was number five. But Brian the Boom Mic Guy is a major eyesore in the middle of a final season that I might have considered a bit of a rebound were it not for his presence. He is a show-ruiner.

Also, Chris Diamantopoulos is the worst. He is a show-ruiner (see also: Community season 4, The Office.) I had to fast-forward through parts of that 37-minute Lindsay episode.

I think there's a case to be made here that network television constraints were a part of what made Arrested Development special. Part of the original AD's charm was its subversiveness. That element of "I can't believe they're getting away with this on network TV" doesn't exist on Netflix. (Speaking of which, why were

There was, however, an ad for Spader's new show BLACKLIST (coming this fall on NBC.)

I like how this show is so bad that nobody bothers doing a "SIIIIIIIMMMSS!"

This season has had its ups and downs, and Fox's wack scheduling kinda killed my enthusiasm for it, but goddamn if these 2 episodes weren't two of the best in the series' run, and two of the best sitcom episodes I've seen recently.

Something has gone horribly wrong with this show. It used to be cartoonish in a truly weird & screwball 30 Rock Jr. kind of way, but lately it just feels broad and hacky.

I assume you mean Silas Caroline, but yes. Caroliney Silas is far more menacing than Shaney Silas. I wonder who we'll see him pose as next.
