and understood so well that they could pick holes in the statement.

This series, along with the ostrich taking Sweet Dee's place in Its Always Sunny, has made me realise just how afraid of ostriches I am.
@avclub-5c7646b1d39fc0715f330479e4e5f254:disqus Yeah luckily I'm not missing anything new, but I've only seen many episodes (including a significant amount of season 3) once, so I have honestly forgotten a lot of plot details, and a few of these scenes I only vaguely remember watching originally.
I'm finding the watermark incredibly distracting. I'm 4 episodes in, and I've had to rewatch every scene with a watermark because I just stare at it until the scene is over, and don't pay attention to whats going on.
My take on James Liptons "granddaughter … daughter" line (I'm assuming this is the one you're referring to), was that the line was written as him saying "grandaughter .. daughter", but it was meant to seem as if he has a grandaughter but is embarrassed at admitting he is old enough to have grandchildren so falsely…
Although its always good to see the relative underdogs do well, I'm kinda hoping Bayern get the treble.
I think the idea is that it put an uncomfortable dynamic between them, that she felt needed to be balanced. It wasn't about getting pleasure from looking at the other naked.
I'm hoping for that 3rd place play-off between Arsenal and Chelsea that could happen if they end up on the same points, goal difference and goals scored. Although the 17 goal turnaround could also be interesting.
It certainly was a gutsy performance.
Its easier to pitch a show if you can say, "it worked in the Uk", and also that you can give them 6 "pilots" by showing them the UK episodes and so they have a good idea of what your show will be like (and you can steal story ideas). This whole way of pitching a new show appeals to both lazy writers and lazy…
So did I. BBC3 aired two episodes a week IIRC, and I was hooked very quickly. Its the sort of show you rarely see on tv, as they are normally too wary about running out of story if they end up running for several years.
She is normally the best part of bad films. However the films she appears in are so bad that it would be hard not to be the best thing about them. I don't see why a Faris project would get a positive critical reception as Todd suggests, because if Faris is in it then you can safely guess it will be bad.
AV Club specific ideas/suggestions (and points estimates):
Okay, both those make sense. The five shows each sounds the most fun (with one show its possible you can win the whole thing after a couple of weeks with an early cancellation). To balance the returning vs rookie shows you could have a requirement to include at least 1 (or two) returning shows in your lineup or…
A couple of questions: How many shows per person? Do we only pick from rookie shows?
Actually looking at the Grantland Rules makes it seem pretty easy to understand. I'd be happy to be involved with drawing up a draft rules list.
Yeah the EW cover stuff can be replaced by things like: Has a For Your Consideration written about it, appears in Top 30 TV Shows of 2013, etc.
I know. Seeing as I spent most of the winter/spring season assigning points/rankings to shows based on ratings anyway, there's no way I'm not getting involved in this.
Oh thats so in my interests. :D I love spreadsheets and creating formulas and stuff, but don't do or know about fantasy football so might have to sit out the organising side of it.
I'm definitely interested. Don't understand American Football rules let along fantasy football, so I might need a bit of help with rules.
