That's whatcha whatcha whatcha get
On level 5

I think their is some animosity between early Simpsons writers and Groening, due to fans of that era thinking Groening did more for the show than in reality. From commentaries it seems he had a veto on plots/jokes, and tried to stop The Simpsons becoming too cartoonish. He came up with the odd joke, and story idea on

I think he is saying that Anna Chlumsky is more attractive than Veeps daughter. ( > means greater than, > > is sometimes used to mean much greater than).

I'm actually not from America or France, and don't know anyone from Boston or Toulouse. I probably cared about both events equally, but heard more about the Boston incident because America gets more coverage in world news.

Yeah, and all my birthday presents suck even without this to compare it to.

I know. Especially as The Voice lead-in could have been used to launch Hannibal behind instead.

Ready for love was a two hour show, and they are putting Grimm at 10. Presumably reruns from 9 until 10?

The bomb scene was edited in by the guy on youtube, but Peter does run over (murder) several Boston marathon runners with his car intentionally in the episode, and surely this was going to get pulled even if the guy didn't make the youtube video.

I'd obviously rather people could make their own minds up about whether to watch it. After all Hannibal always starts with a message saying "Discretion advised"

Yeah that is one positive thing to take. He didn't take the Seth McFarlane route and blame it on a youtube video barely edited from an episode actually showing footage of Peter murdering dozens at the Boston marathon.

Variety says it will.

So they said this episode has no effect on the ongoing plot, and just involves character development. But still, if all we watched a show for was plot development then we would just read plot recaps.

NBC actually listened to one of their showrunners! Unfortunately it results in us missing an episode.

AMC have also announced "Talking Bad" will follow all Breaking Bad episodes this season.
Also August 11th premiere date for new Breaking Bad season.

My eyes immediately darted to "-cum-swimming pool"

For some reason the game popped into my head recently, and for all the days since I've been listening to this on repeat. Such a good, laid-back summer album.

I saw Lillyhammer on DVD recently, so I imagine all Netflix originals will follow suit.

@avclub-83fc1972b4cb530b1c38e149f3ba2927:disqus  hits it on the head. (Your username works well there). In a sentence, good tv doesn't make money.

Some really good ideas. Although 'appeal to foreign markets by using good looking actors' seems off the mark. Have you seen foreign tv? Very rarely do they use good looking casts. But in general, trying to appeal to overseas is a good point. Less US specific cultural references, and more physical humour would surely

One thing that will definitely die is family viewing. Networks shows loads of sitcoms perfect for the whole house to watch. But will they sit around the living room and watch a cable sitcom together? I can't imagine watching the likes of Archer or Its Always Sunny with my family.
