I've began doing the same (skipping) with Community comparisons in sitcom reviews (other than for Community itself of course), I know that most of us know Community but I don't see why it's being used as a comparison point over and over by more than one reviewer. It means nothing to a significant section of readers…

A wonderfully apt comparison. I tried merging my account with disqus but all it did was add the days comments while leaving the accounts unmerged, the same thing happens every time I try. Disqus truly is a horrible system.

Thanks. They still can deliver quality episodes, I personally enjoyed Free Will Hunting, Naturama (as you mentioned), and Decision 3012 a lot. But unfortunately the misses are much more frequent, and they are relying on gross out/body change humour and deus ex machina's more and more.

I gave it a go expecting normal BBC3 lowest common denominator comedy, and it actually surprised me by being fairly restrained. It's not going to become appointment tv but I'm sure I will iPlayer new episodes when I get a free half-hour during the week.

HE ended last year on 1.6 when it was only up against Bent. Unless it gained an audience through summer reruns, I no longer see it as a contender, especially due to Go On's moderate success.

It looks like New Girl might not quite have the viewers to anchor Fox's Tuesday nights though (at least not with its current stablemates). B&K's 2.0 and TMP's 2.4 are fairly unimpressive, especially for premieres with New Girl lead-in's. NBC sitcoms premiere to better ratings!

So far I'm loving 'Jay S.'s updates on Tuesday's 9pm Battle of the Sitcoms'. Long may it continue.
