I saw repeats of it in England when growing up around the late 90's-early 2000's so I would assume it was shown here during its original airing as well.. Although the fact that they were Canadian went over my head.

This is 100% my opinion. The show is doing enough right to keep me viewing every week, but I still feel the show has several problems that keep it from being must see tv (for me).  However I do feel slightly scared off commenting on this comment section as I expect an attack from both the often straight up abusive

With Frontline being mentioned, I thought I should mention that BBC Panorama did a very interesting documentary last night, on racism in Poland and Ukraine football culture and how it may affect the soon to start European Championships, called Euro 2012: Stadiums of Hate. Definitely worth a watch if you are interested
