I wonder how they got Ayoade involved if they didn't get Graham Linehan's permission to remake his show. You would hope that Ayoade had some loyalty.

That typing sound is really disconcerting. Especially as I had left this tab open and started reading something else

The show they worked on (Happy Endings) was an ensemble comedy with no real lead, and had less corny love interest stories than Community.

Yeah, Adam Reed is probably the most important showrunner to his show, (and if not of all shows then at least out of the comedies) as he pretty much writes every line in the show and also voices a character in addition to normal showrunner/executive producer tasks.

Weird Al - Skipper Dan.
A weezer style parody about an actor forced to abandon his dreams of working as a critically adored actor, and become a tour guide on the jungle cruise ride.

Great news. I always thought E4 had some sort of rule that they cant show episodes within a certain time of US airing, as whenever HE or HIMYM nearly catches up with US airings (eg. due to US Christmas Break) they always take a week or two off, without showing any. Hopefully this means next season we might get them

Looking forward to them. Unfortunately I have to wait for them to go up on youtube so I won't be able to contribute much.

I turned it around.

This interview is brought to you by hit crime solving duo, GP and The Fergs. One a creepy robotic homosexual who never leaves the Late Late Show basement and the other …  Geoff Peterson. Do you see what I did? DO YOU SEE WHAT I DID?.

Yeah, I always watch his monologues as they are by far the most interesting and funny of the late nights hosts I have seen. My only problem with them is that more and more of the first segment is being taken over by regularly recurring bits/jokes ie. banging the camera, ask audience to quieten down slowly, mock warm

If I ever go to America, then sitting in lesbian row for an episode of The Late Late Show is high on my list of priorities.
