No A Tale of Two Santas quote thread is complete without …
And I'm his friend Jesus
Sandlers movies are more of a calculated, product placement filled, money grab for Sandler and all his actor friends. Due to Sandler having a built in over $100 mil audience for any film he's in, he can make dirt cheap films in a weekend and spin a huge profit. Take a look at this Red Letter Media video they did…
"Whoa, you look better than you used to for some reason"
I haven't watched this in quite a while, but did watch it yearly in my very young years. Strangely I dont remember the sad ending of the film and have only a couple of specific memories, the boy leaving his house by the back door trampling in the snow with footprints in his wake, and the snowmen flying in the air with…
I think he sang for the UK single release of 'Walking in the Air' but not on the film. Probably because the original boy's voice dropped between the film being released and deciding to release a single of it.
The hate for Cracked is presumably because they are both competing pop-culture related sites. The Dawes meme originated from an article written by Steven Hyden linked here http://www.avclub.com/artic…
I also got a lot of notifications (7) but very few were related to the article. If it is only mentioned in passing the way Happy Endings, Mad Men and Lost were, then I dont need a notification for it.
Its even worse for me, I have no recollection of even seeing a film in the cinema this year. I had no intention of missing an entire year of films but it has just sort of happened without me noticing.
Although as this was their goal (removing delusions of humanity) perhaps they did a good job? And they did cure Malfunctioning Eddie.
I would put forward the therapists from the Futurama episode 'Insane in the Mainframe'. They took on Fry as a sane man and eventually convinced him he was a robot.
…Except the gloves.
Have we beaten the AVClub comment count record yet?
Yeah its a great song, and finally 400ish comments in, this is the first song I am familiar with.
Cracked did a pretty good list article on that topic.

No mention of Leonard Pierce in the review of an episode which features Jay slamming someone who reviewed a film he didn't see and also sees Jay doing the same?
I agree. The post-Amstell series have been sub-par. I think their problem is that the show works best when the show is filled by people who are both comedians and knowledgeable about music, and these people are few and far between. Their choices in guest hosts have generally not worked as the comedians host with a…
Are quizcom panel shows not a big thing in america? They are consistently among some of my favourite shows on UK tv.
I'm pretty sure it would be the same for anything Futurama parodied in its first four seasons. If I remember rightly even The Twilight Zone, which I would consider in fitting with the AV Club audience, had its first few episodes comment sections filled with quotes from The Scary Door.
I thought I saw New Girl in E4's winter preview ad, although that could easily have been Happy Endings or 2 Broke Girls.
