"It works because the gag's not really pointed at Strange, but instead humanity's own dumb hubris"
I think you missed the first part of that sentence. And I thought the bit was hilarious

I thought it was pretty good from the start, but it did get great once the full team had a couple episodes together

"Hey, A.V. Club, interview me. I hate "Brown Eyed Girl" and I'm happy to share why."
Yes to both @Barnitosupreme:disqus and @avclub-91546109eaf110327d50b0955865712a:disqus . Those are the only ones I watched since JLU. Although I did try to watch that Spider-man cartoon that had NPH voicing Peter, and that was a regrettable decision.
Milo Ventimiglia just got really, really excited.
If I remember correctly, the carnival pretty much amounted to the main guy being pissed about a girl, then culminating in a dirt pushing battle between him and Peter. And tatoos
Not trying to be a dick here, but doesn't Drudge just link to other sites?
"They did not sit down one day and said "let us create a racist pro-slavery flag.""
No, they just tried to create a racist, pro-slavery country. And the flag was their logo. But, I'm sure the black slaves respected the South's struggle for independence
Renner is actually dropping the Hawkeye character. He's decided just to wait until Chris Evans is sick of playing Cap. Then, he'll slide in to the feature gig, and give half the performance with twice the intensity.
Went and saw JP 3D. The 3D was pretty good, but not as good as they did with Top Gun.
I felt like part of the strength being built was from pulling back on his slap of the water. It's not like he's hitting the bottom of the bowl, he's stopping himself. Not saying that would make him hulk up quickly, but I think the exercise is deceptive in how much it could work.
I loved that part, and I miss that series. That is all
They've already alienated Southern America, because Hollyweird has been overrun by librul demoncrats.
Well, they did sort of deal with that issue in one of the early episodes. Ollie got caught on purpose, pretty much to debunk that theory. Not saying everyone would immediately dismiss the notion, but that's enough of an effort for a TV show
I believe we got an A.R.G.U.S. mention tonight, which is a DC gov't group that is to the Justice League (at least in the New 52) as SHIELD is to the Avengers.
Joke's on the rapist, because he now has a special brand of herpes (not the gentle kind), mutated through years of inbreeding
Agree. There are moments when his character annoys me on The League, and he's my favorite regular on that show.
Before Young Justice, I didn't know who the Sportsmaster was, much less Cheshire and Artemis. Hopefully they'll bring in that family somewhere down the road (a couple seasons down the road). I'd be interested to see if they could pull of Sportsmaster as well as YJ did, because his wikipedia page sounds ridiculous.
Hopefully they tag in Jesus for Part II
