Only issue with the montage: Lem with the headphones.  Does this mean he's a Kid Rock fan?

Well played

I think you're missing the obvious, Atlas Fudged.  Make it a gay porn spoof of a right-wing libertarian fantasy

Worked for me!

He wasn't great, but he was far from the biggest issue in the movie.  The villains they used were awful (more so the giant turd cloud that was Parallax), Blake Lively showed she belongs on the CW, they spent way too much time on Earth and left the Hal/Sinestro relationship underdeveloped (as well as Hal with the rest

While I wouldn't guarantee he'll get off the island this year, I'm pretty sure he was off the island at some point in those 5 years.  There was even a line of dialogue a few episodes back that all but confirmed it.  Ollie and Dig were talking about something Ollie found out about the list and his dad, and Ollie said

Hitting the real-time wall on any series is such a downer.  I hit mine between seasons 5 and 6.  Probably the toughest wait between seasons.  At least I had the John Cena song in the previews to hold me over.

No, it wasn't the same container.  If I remember correctly, the storage container for that was at ground level, or under a bridge.

It does look like a mild Palpatining of Obama, but I doubt that's what they went for.  If Satan starts enticing the masses with things like health care, education, and minimum wage increases, then I'll be moderately disappointed.

Kinda curious, are you going to watch the show now?  I've seen a few people on twitter say they were going to give it a whirl now that this whole thing happened

As the third of a trilogy, it was disappointing.  As a movie, i didn't think it was so bad.  It was better than Metro

Pretty much true, I would have a lot more confidence in Dan Harmon pulling this off than the guys that are running the show this season

I'm assuming Fallon's inability to keep from cracking-up and laughing benefits him more in his current job than it did during SNL.  The only time I've seen his late show is the time he did "Friday" with Colbert, and when he had Zack Morris on.

I can't describe that scene in any way except jaw-dropping

Gotta disagree about your last bit.  I always felt that Vic had a special place for Lem, since he was always the "purest" of all the guys, and went along with a lot of their shit because they were his friends.  Terry was a guy that Vic had to accommodate, and wanted to take down the whole team.  Ronnie always seemed

Good call on Rondell, I could never figure out where I knew him from, and that was before I just went to Wikipedia/IMDB for such things

I hear this is why they can't put out Blu-Rays

@avclub-22eda830d1051274a2581d6466c06e6c:disqus I believe you're referring to "Overcome" at the end of the 2nd season.  If so, then I politely respond with a "fuck you, I love that montage."  Respectfully, of course

I think the money train first gets mentioned in an early to mid-second season case.  It becomes a major arc in the back half of the season

I feel like the season starts to find its way when Claudette starts getting involved in things early in S2.  But when they're all sitting around the pile of cash, it feels like Lost when it blew the hatch open, in a "Holy shit that was awesome, and now its about to get crazy" kinda way
