Man, what I wouldn't give to have been at those early RHP shows…

I, personally, love both the SKM covers album, and then AC/DC stuff he's done. It's probably my favorite "reimagining" of music i've ever heard. That said, new material (a whole album's worth!) is always more preferable to a covers album.

Holy Bajesus, best Tuesday in months!!!!
A new SKM album!!!!! (also: the score album for INCEPTION, but that's a different nerd obsession altogether)

I love me some Tom Hardy
Seriously, if you have not seen BRONSON, do so. If nothing else, his performance is ferociously entertaining and compelling.

LET THE RIGHT ONE IN gets my vote for in need of a "better late than never"…
I just watched it a few weeks ago, despite being a huge horror fan and hearing it gushed about by numerous people.

As long as they resurrect the gratuitous racist redneck from the previous installment!
Perhaps he has some kin that can come back looking to enact revenge upon Death!

"That song Amazing? It's amazin'"
Just as Aziz Ansari's cousin, Darwish, always predicted…

Not a good sign when…
The boner joke is the best thing in the trailer/only thing in the trailer that looks slightly funny.

Uglier than Dick Cheney's Soul
In his "My Year of Flops" review of DELGO, Nathan Rabin refers to its characters thusly, referencing an earlier non-Flops review of the flop DOOGAL.

Give me bleak over giant steaming pile of crap any day.

Maybe I'm just getting soft in my old age…
But this actually doesn't look half bad.

Get David Michod to direct the pilot! (Or Nash Edgerton!)
Seriously: Aussie cinema has really stepped up the last few years. A lot of really bold, chance-taking, dynamic, compelling stuff…not all of it wholly successful, but I've discovered a lot of gems/interesting new talents (THE SQUARE, ACOLYTES, THE BOYS, THE

I could potentially see her doing her version of SHOWGIRLS (seemed like a good idea at the time, but everyone was deluding themselves), or maybe even I KNOW WHO KILLED ME (was probably never going to be a good idea, but I give the director almost-points for trying), which would be as close to softcore as one would

"If you're here, who's taking your shift at the Olive Garden?"
I love this interview!! One of my favorites I've read on AV Club in a long time.

Get "Jennifer" a body bag…
Megan Fox = done.

Surprised the first 20 or so minutes didn't at least merit a mention…
They are the best part of the film, IMO. Though I suppose Noel does address that fact by talking about the other Duplass films, and how they started strong, then finished weak. (An assessment I don't entirely side with.)

Sorry, should've read your post first…I agree!

If you read the JC Reilly interview elsewhere on AV Club, he talks about the fact that the Duplass Brothers actually wrote a script, a funny one according to Reilly, but then they wound up reshaping/improvising/throwing a lot of it out, it would seem, once they cast it and started shooting.

STEP BROTHERS had jokes?
Just sayin'.

Every few years, WB delivers a great, big steaming helping of blockbuster crap…
I figured they were due.
