I hope that every time there is a music cue, Angel of Death kicks in a la Shake Ya Tailfeather. By the third or fourth time, it would be hilarious.

I'm over Gregory. He was exciting at first, but now that nearly every dish has been "thai-inspired," I find him predictable and boring. It would have been okay with me if he went home this week.

So you're going to lose your shit over Jurassic World then.

I started my rewatch the of the serie this week, just finished this episode. It's amazing to see Walt's bullshit machine already being put to use, even in the second episode.

Figured someone already thought of it, I was thinking "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Assassins."

I had the soundtrack ON VINYL. It had a board game and pop-outs in the jacket. IT WAS AWESOME.

Same here. I thought, "B? Wow, that's pretty generous for Motley Crue's former-drummer."

Will have to listen for that when I watch both again, but Zimmer did use the same organ chord that ends Also Spracht Zarathustra (used in 2001) in his score. I think it's very intentional.

Interstellar: Saving Private Ryan

I really like Chastain as an actress, but found her scenes with Michael Caine pretty bad. She had too much of an "Aww, schucks professor!" vibe to her delivery.

I'd like to retitle this movie "Interstellar: Chekhov's Blackhole"

They say 'fuck' 15 times, so that's R right there. Cut the language, would probably be PG-13. But watching it on cable, I never heard the language.

I know this technically isn't a show, but I loved watching "Blues Brothers" as a kid. It was constantly playing on TNT, so when I was home sick or bored on a Saturday afternoon, I could click over to TNT and pick up the movie at any point. Still love the scene with the FBi agents climbing down the building.

Finally…

I spent the summer of '94 watching MTV with my brother and cousin. Having just turned 11, this was year was a big change in my awareness of the pop-culture landscape. I am pretty excited for this upcoming week!

I would tolerate a lot for Gail Simmons, including Canadians.

Anyone else completely annoyed by the Guy-Ritchie-esque slow-mo shots, complete with timebending sound effects?

There is a band from Madison called Droids Attack that features a poorly constructed cardboard robot dancing on stage and terrorizing the audience. Although they don't all dress-up, still a fun gimmick.

Meh.
