Oh I like ROTJ too, I love all the stuff in the Emperor's room, the space battle and even some of the Ewok stuff to a degree. I don't think ROTJ is some giant step down in quality in the original trilogy.

I understand that, but its also kind of annoying having Star Wars forced down your throat all the time. Its just a movie, i get it, and i like them, but like, they not THAT great and it gets a little eye roll'ey after a while.

But the characters motivations made absolutely no sense.

I thought the scene at the Opera was super creepy and effective.

Its true though. They didn't win anything. There could be New Adventures, new problems, not, hey turns out we actually lost the war.

Honestly, I like it, but I kind of like the original and parts of ROTJ better. I'm not crazy about the Ice Planet and I think Han is extra dickish in Empire

Empire isn't that good.

Also, Empire isn't THAT good. Its good, it's fine, but it isn't super fucking amazing.

Also Rogue One is fucking terrible, I like the sets, i like the costumes, that's it. I'm done giving a shit. I'm sure i will see this one eventually on cable, I don't hate the films, i'm just done withe the hype. I like dumb goofy fun, star wars is starting to have this "forced fun" feel to it that's off putting. It

snap I didn't notice his breathing, its a pretty gruesome injury none the less.

I like it. Is that the one with the sailors and the bouncey balls?

I actually think they were in the top tier of bands performing at the Roadhouse.

I know why they had that scene of Johnny dying. His funeral brings Audrey back to Twin peaks.

Can't wait for the think pieces in regards to appropriation.

Those jokes are lame, but come on, you're reaching to be offended about that shit.

If you watch footage from their concerts from Aenima, he used to move a lot more, granted in very strange arythmic ways, but he was a bit more interactive with what was going on around him

I have seen them 6 times, they put on an amazing show, but I don't really give a shit about a new album b/c there's too much good interesting music out there that I am not going to pine for music the band doesn't seem to give a shit about making. life is too short.

I thankfully missed that whole thing, but I think i'm in favor of thigh-gap out of spite?

As a Tool fan who cannot stand other Tool fans (seriously, if you like weird music there's a whole world of avant garde shit out there, expand a little!) I totally understand not wanting to engage.

I love how this giant oral history comes out and the only thing people give a shit about is how its very tangentially related to a male band. It reminds me of a recent remark Mary Kerr said regarding David Foster Wallace,"“Sometimes people go on and on about David Foster Wallace. As though my contribution to
