Wasn't it always a hospital bed though (not counting the original concept prior to the filming of Star Wars). In Return of the Jedi he asks Luke to take his mask off knowing that it will kill him. I saw Star Wars so young I never knew it as anything else.

I was also frustrated because her character wasn't given room to breathe. She's just wounded orphan with chip on her shoulder. Very glad her and Generic Good Looking Guy didn't get romantic. But perhaps a friendship together to soften her or give her some dramatic range or learning about the Force from Martial Arts

Yea, I am cool with that. Like, if he got scarred up and battle beaten but Obi Wan was the one that put him in the respirator. That works.

Why did the Force need to be balanced? The Sith Disappeared and the Jedi's are the elite guardians of the Republic. If anything, keeping the Force Uneven is in their interests.

Correct!

You are so correct about all of this. If I could start my life over, I would become a filmmaker just so I could have a shot at remaking those godawful Prequels (you know its coming).

This seems as good of a place to rant about this as any. I saw Rogue One a couple weeks ago and that movie fucking sucks. Set design and costumes were great but the execution ofthe plot fucking sucked and there were NO characters in the movie.

The internet liked the Counselor? Are you sure? I remember that getting bashed pretty hard.

That's what I'm saying homes.

That dump of an island we got in exchange for all those awesome ass beads we used to have.

Ah, the ol' Liberace cross over appeal.

Is it weird that was who I was thinking of while reading this, too?

Is the bottom half the good half?

Heh well, I don't really like the movie, but, well…it has a historical setting…..(okay, I am reaching).

Yeah, I mean, I go back and forth on it. On the one hand, comic book movies are just the latest trend that hollywood is pumping out to make money and so becomes the symbol of everything wrong with Hollywood. On the other hand, like I don't know, I haven't encountered a superhero comic that has really blew my mind

Its an interesting phenomena that Andrew O' Hehir has written quite a bit about. Comic book fans have this resentment towards the perceived establishment (film critics) for not being taken seriously, despite the fact that their genre has come to dominate pop culture. It isn't only that they have to be given their

See but, he is though.

Yes but there was adult mid budget films being made too. Also all these guys didn't have run around begging for money the way they do now.

He's failing. (I kid Barsanti, you keep doing you)

NOT a Replicant! LALALALLAA Can't hear you!
