Kaylee was actively killing people and didn't seem at all guilty about it either. You can guarentee if Dean let her go the second her kid got sick again she would go right back to killing.

The show has a bit of a history with throwing in alternate brothers for Dean and having Dean like them more. When sam swapped bodies with the satan worshipping kid, Dean liked the kid better. There was the siren (which to be fair to Dean was a siren). He liked working with Cas  better by the end of season four. Now

Or a weird guy who looks an awful lot like a guy who was wanted for lots and lots of murders and freaky grave desecrations.

It reminded me of the bit in the Doctor Who episode The Lodger where the Doctor has to question Craig's cat. Of course Cas isn't as successful.

Is that even possible that they could change something like that based on audience reaction? I don't know what the filming/editing vs airing schedule is like but wouldn't they have done a big chunk of filming before the season starting at least?

I'd love to hear his analysis of the duck season/rabbit season gag. The pointlessness of the church's schisms over interpretations of scripture perhaps?

At this point i'm assuming dead-husband is a monster. Or possibly heaven brought him back to get Amelia out of the picture and make sure Sam went back to Dean.

The season plot definately isn't as urgent as it has been in the past. From the guy's perspective as of now things are basically normal, there are demons and monsters, Sam and Dean hunt them, but the world isn't ending. Closing Hell would be nice, but if it doesn't happen their lives won't be any worse than they are

I love socially unaware Cas, not realizing that watching Dean sleep would be creepy instead of reassuring. Or just coming right out with the husband's affair to the widow. Or trying to make third wheel not an insult using logic.

The first song on the list reminds me of the scene in Grapes of Wrath when Grandpa is decribing what he wants to do when they get to California. He wants to jump in a big tub of grapes, shove them down his pants, and "scooge around" till the juice runs down his leg.
