Just added it to my reading list! Thanks for the suggestion, it looks great.

Exactly!

Are they putting Chyna the wrestler in that league? She died last night but not one mention of her after this.

I had to step out a couple of times myself. Miserable fucking day.

Watch his performance of 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame the year he was inducted. Look at Dhani's face (George Harrison's son). That will explain all.

No argument from me on that one, either!

Except that Marnie's personality is so off-putting it negates her physical beauty. (Certainly NOT Allison's beauty — I get she's only playing the part and very well.)

Thats hilarious!

Trust me, much of stand up is still homophobic. I went to a club last year — after NOT having been in one for at least a decade — and EVERY comic up there did some kind of 'how about gays and sex, y'all?!' joke. It was really unfunny and a crutch. There was one who didn't include that kind of joke, and he stood out

I have always felt that the bottom like with Clay is that he's just not talented/sublime enough as an artist to be able to thread that needle of persona vs person. Not everyone who sees his act 'gets' that its 'not him'.

A damn sight better than 'Ray Donovan', though! I was reminded of that shit show when they ran the teaser right after the episode. That's a show I'm ditching out of, this one I am looking forward to coming back.

I know this movie is ONLY focused on McCarthy and that can be lazy in many ways, but I find her so goddamned funny and willing to 'go there' to get a laugh that, for me, that's the entertainment. I often rail against movies where they could barely bother to build the world around the main character, but damn if her

Constabile was fucking scary on Damages. I think he pulls this part off well.

SO true! Almost ALL of their shows go on way, way past their 'sell by' date.

Absolutely agree. I quit this show after episode four. I saw bits of this one last night too and I don't regret bailing on it. I had the same feeling/thought about the other recent TV anti-heroes and how this show misses that mark at this point. The others, ironically, had some kind of charisma that drew you in, even

True enough, but the show is told from these narcissistic characters' POVs so it makes sense there is no real recognition of cultural depth or context. Everything is about how THEY feel about it/see it and no more than that.

I like the scene too, but unfortunately for me, I feel about Jessa like most viewers do about Marnie. I can't stand her.

Based on the majority of twentysomethings I've known (even when I was in that decade) and those I know now…that's not unusual. It tends to be a time in life for many when they are trying on so many things that they don't know what the hell they want yet. That's the time to do it, imo. Its hard to be a fortysomething

That line made me immediately apply that to my life and myself to see if it fit, and I didn't find it ringing true at all. I consider myself nice (like most of us do) and I thought, does that mask my uglier side? Well, yes. Does everyone really want to live in a society where every bit of our darker moods get put on

Agreed. My first thought when he grabbed the kids was 'won't the campmaster think they were kidnapped?!'
