"Dan is so mean and so out of line when he accuses Dana of being a secretary. Then he’s so happy when he makes it right with spackle."

Yeah, she is just all kinds of bad crazy in this season. Honestly, it would have made more sense for her to be in therapy than Danny.

The Cliff Gardner speech is one of my favorite pieces of writing of all time and Macy really sells it. But I especially love the kicker: "And if you think I'm just talking at you, you should ask around about me. I have absolutely no conscience about these things."

The show makes a lot more sense when you realize that Phoebe actually hates them all.

"Sally was not a relationship. Sally was two sick and twisted people slinking away in the dark to do God knows what to each other."

Because it's so very important to him that he be right. It's why he's given to pronouncements and declarations, too.

What made the Dating Plan (almost) work for me was that it seemed very much in keeping with the crazy side of Dana's personality, the insane need to control things in life as much as she does in her show. It helps that Felicity Huffman sells the hell out of it, and it eventually takes a backseat to the network

I always thought this is where Jeremy turns the corner from "generally good guy" to "kind of a dick."

"And he threw it with his left hand."

I'm not usually a fan of first person either, but in this case I think it's necessary to distinguish between the current iteration of Marsh and the events in the past — which is again his present. It also serves as a good device to remind me of what went before, because I didn't do the re-read. So I'm cool with it.

Ian Tregillis' NECESSARY EVIL, which is the final book in his Milkweed triptych. It's about Nazi X-Men fighting British warlocks, and it's brilliant. And Duane Swierczynski's POINT AND SHOOT, which is the final book in his Charlie Hardie series and promises to be full of fun and high-concept mayhem. And shamefully,

He'll get his chance in the American reboot. Along with Luke Perry.

If the Supermobile shows up, this movie automatically wins an Oscar. I think it's in the bylaws.

Just want to add my voice to the praise for these articles, Nathan Rabin. It cannot be easy to get people to talk about failure, especially in a business that's built on the idea of constant self-promotion and success.

I've dropped almost everything from DC since the New 52 began. I started with maybe 20 of the titles. Now I'm down to Action, and that ends when Morrison leaves.

"…and a weak one, at that, given how easily Giles always kicked his ass…"

I started with about twenty from the new 52. I'm down to Action Comics now, and will drop that when Morrison leaves.

Seriously, let's get this into development. I'll make some calls.

I have actually heard of shaving with yogurt. I mean, it's a thing. They didn't just make it up for Max.

Near-death experience. His soul came back.
