I want to read the series you're describing.

You're right that there should be a degree of deference.  I'm not particularly familiar with anything that Chevy has done to criticize the show in public, but I don't think these kinds of voicemails are all that over the line.  Chevy's an ass, but he said these things in private to Dan Harmon directly.  Chevy's

Was the renewal only for one season?  I guess the rumors that HBO was going to renew it for a 3rd and 4th that would be shot back to back didn't pan out.

Not that Chevy Chase isn't an asshole, but from everything I've read about their feud, Dan Harmon's absolutely the bigger asshole of the two.  It's really either gotta be a sense of commitment to the show or just a desire to stay relevant that keeps Chevy around, 'cause unless he's broke, what's he need to stay on a

Go ahead and start with the second season.  There isn't a whole lot of backstory (Kim Bauer left Zach Knighton at the altar in the first episode, they've largely gotten over the awkwardness - BOOM you're caught up on the first season).

I think the band that Osha was with briefly mentioned running away from his army also.

I'm one of those who comments and reads the Experts reviews.  I genuinely enjoy reading these comments also, if only because you can see how the show is presenting the story differently from the books.  Anything more and you're getting into the "Have you gotten to the part where XXXXX happens!?  Man, you're going to

I don't know.  I think as long as it was a rumor that Craster was colluding with the Others the Night's Watch could ignore it.  But at this point in the story most of the Watch still believes that the Others are a myth.  It's not until SPOILERS! the attack at the beginning of book 3 that everyone recognizes that the

My guess is that they're recognizing that Cersei's going to be around for quite a while and wanted to build audience sympathy.  They already had those scenes in the first season where she stated that he wanted to give her marriage to Robert a shot before Robert's inability to let go of Lyanna destroyed it.

I had never heard of her before seeing Race on broadway a few years ago.  She was excellent, even if I did disagree with her character's outrage (I could understand being upset, but there were non-racial reasons for her to be asked to do what she was asked to do, and though it would be somewhat embarrassing and an

I'm going to have to look that one up.  I can't imagine those personalities interacting.

I've gotta think that, even for experienced improvisers it's difficult to do it in that setting.  I think the show's gotten better as Besser himself has gotten more used to it, so he's a better anchor for the show.  But really, like all improv, it's going to be hit or miss (the disappointing misses are worth going

Whoever wins, we…. win also.

I find it worth it when there's a clever title or wordplay that someone comes up with.  That hasn't happened in a while, but I find the boring ones worth the effort.

Man, maybe I was in a bad mood, but I couldn't stand the Rafflecast.  I love Daly when he's on CBB, but I just didn't find any of Rafflecast funny.

I finally caught up on improv4humans over this last week.  They're really hitting a stride and deserve to be in the "best" column.  I haven't listened to this week's yet, but last week's with Seth Morris and Brian Husky was f'in hilarious.

I agree.  In this situation though, it really wasn't Fred Savage's fault.  He did his a good job in rolling with whatever was thrown at him.

I think it's still worth a listen if you're not pressed for time or dying under a mountain of unlistened-to podcasts.  The interview with Savage and some of his stories as the episode progresses are great.  Not one of the best episodes, but not the worst either.

I thought the Daynes had Dawn, because Ned took it back to them after killing Arthur Dayne at the Tower of Joy.

Maybe not a looming danger, but we could just learn more about greyscale from her.
