Fuck Azor Ahai, fuck dragons, fuck Targaryans.

What ominous visions?

How do you mean?  I always got the sense that she hated the Starks, but hated Bolton even more.  So she'll end up on the side of the Starks, but isn't thrilled about it.

In the commentary to the first episode of the season the creators point out Jeyne in the feast scene, noting that they know people were unhappy that they cut her stuff out.

For those, like you, that are very into seeking out the extras that are out there, I could absolutely see the show being more powerful than the books (I just disagree).  There are tons of people though who aren't interested enough to seek out the backstories and the history of Westeros on the DVDs, or otherwise aren't

It's probably way too much work for this site, if it's even possible, but one of the Song of Ice and Fire fansites lets you pick what book you've read up to, then blacks out spoilers beyond that book.  Each comment and article is tagged by how far the spoilers go.  It's a really good system for a series like this.

@avclub-6b8aa777ed70e7f15a45947a0f0c5986:disqus I don't think that kind of change is going to be all that important.  Marillion's dead one way or another, and the fact that he was the one who joined them when Cat showed up in the Eyrie wasn't relevant to the story Littlefinger told about Marillion killing Lysa.

@The_Tuna:disqus   Dany couldn't do that because the point of her chapters was that ruling is far more difficult than conquering.  If she killed him, another Harpy would have arisen.  And when she killed that one, another would have arisen.  As much as I like the idea that Dany will tear through Essos freeing slaves

When did they establish that Cersei was born first?  I really don't remember that.

I think Barristan meant only that Aerys took certain liberties, but didn't actually fuck Joanna.  Why would Tywin stick around King's Landing after Aerys did that?  No, I think the rape of Joanna happened later, as part of Aery's plan to create Azor (this is, of course, assuming that he had such a plan) by mixing

SPOILER THROUGH DANCE

I used to listen to hbo all the time 'cause I was a huge fan of Kevin & Bean and Ralph Garmen.  I stopped 'cause it felt like it was getting repetitive and have been meaning to give it another shot.  Thanks for the heads up.

Over the Jason Mantzoukas and Andy Daly ep from two weeks ago?  I think last week's episode was a bit of a let down, but otherwise CBB's been on a tear lately.

Watch more of it.  I was skeptical at first also, but I was bored one day and caught a few episodes in a row.  The cast's charisma is pretty damn good.  It's much better than it should be being on CBS.  I'd definitely agree that it belongs on the list of best comedies of the '00s.  It's very self aware and has, at

Yup.  Happens all the time over there.  Childhood in Russia is literally a constant struggle to avoid being burned alive as a part of some brother/sister incentual love game.

I really liked this episode, though I'll admit it gets a little slow in the middle.  I see where you're coming from with Ruthie, but I liked her, and wonder if the problem was more that Nick Stahl wasn't good enough to get across how much he actually cared for her.  Though I get the sense that Ben has been looking to

I think he describes it in On Writing.  I vaguely remember the story but don't think that I read it in any introduction.  It was incredibly sad.
